I keep trying to take a picture of S's baby beaver teeth, but every time I hit the camera button on my phone, he closes his mouth. The kid is asleep. How does he know?
Hola notches! Yesterday was super busy. Dd is finally feeling better. We went shopping at an outlet mall with my mom. I bought a super adorable coach wristlet for $28! Then we came home and I went for a run with dd. I'm so sore today.
I'm glad to see it was busy around here yesterday. I swear it's always busy when I'm busy and can't keep up or participate.
Today will be busy again. It's my SIL 40th bday party. We're going to go help set up during the day and then my mom is watching dd so I can go party it up tonight.
Last night I decided that something has to give with rocking dd to sleep. I love doing it, but she has zero clue how to fall asleep on her own, and sometimes it just takes too long. We've tried CIO and it's just not for us. So instead I sat in her room until she wore herself out and finally fell asleep. It took 2 hours. 2 long hours.
I want to join more message board groups, just so I can go there, too. Maybe one for dogs and weight loss and weight loss for dogs and losing weight with dogs.
jellykat2 tell me about your run. I did a half marathon in June, but I haven't even gone for a walk since, and it shows on my waistline. What kind of jogging stroller do you use? How long of a run does your LO tolerate?
My hair gets so oily so fast that I shower at 5:30am and my 2:30pm, I'm a greaseball. I started putting hand soap in my hair before using my shampoo, and it cuts through the oil so well! I can now go 2 days without washing my hair instead of feeling nasty after 10 hours. I don't know WHY I thought to do it, but I'm glad I did.
I once watched an episode of Strange Addictions and this couple were doing coffee enemas. I'm really curious to about how the caffeine affect is different than from just drinking coffee. Not saying I'm going to try it, but I do have an enema bag and coffee.

2 hours? Ouch. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction though!
Also, yay for the $28 Coach wristlet!! I have all of the jealousy over here!!

It is a start! Hopefully soon she will be going to sleep on her own!

So, I am by no means a runner. But, I decided I needed to get back into it - because also my waistline. I bought a jogging stroller off craigslist because I didn't want to spend a ton of money and then not use it. I got a schwinn. It's pretty basic, but I like it. I've been using a running app to get me up to being able to run any distance. But this week we've been out running/walking for about 45 min and she does well.

God I hope so. She did sleep well once she finally fell asleep.

It was loooooong. I hope it helps. I seriously have no idea what I'm doing. And all I wanted was a drink last night, but I forgot to take one with me. By the time she fell asleep I was exhausted and went to bed. At 9:30.
Also, I'm sooooo excited about my coach wristlet. I may or may not become obsessed with the coach outlet store if they always have deals like that.
My sister and cousin are both pregnant and due on S's birthday, which makes me super baby hungry. I won't be trying for a baby until S is closer to 2, but I am prepping myself for the next addition to satisfy my baby brain. Like, we just bought a minivan because I wanted to make sure there would be enough seats for a future hypothetical child, but I also want to bump up my member status so when I head to TTGP on PB/TCF, I don't look like a total newb. I've through TTGP before, and they can be pretty harsh with newbs.

I saw that episode. I freaking love that show. I have to admit I was also curious. But don't have an enema bag, so......
I'm at work for the first time in 2 weeks and I'm the only one here and I have nothing to do...So yeah, I'll be around today!
We have DD's baptism tomorrow and then we're having a picnic for her. I'm excited but I also have a lot of anxiety over the picnic part. We're having it at a park that's 40 minutes from us (the closest park was all booked up) so I have to get up early and go decorate the pavilion and then come back and help DH get DD ready and then get to church and then pick up food from our place and then finally head back to the park and put all of the food out and hopefully the sternos will be enough to keep everything hot because we don't have electricity and aaaahhhhhh. Holy run on sentence, sorry, but it's freaking me out a little. We never host parties because we don't have the space in our apartment so I go a bit nuts when I have to organize stuff like this. Should be fun though...Plus there will be lots of alcohol so I'll be visiting the drinking thread for some day drinking on Sunday!

I've got two littles, so I needed a double jogger. We were looking at flea markets but ended up buying a bike trailer-jogger combo. The problem I'm having is that it's basically a plastic tent over the kids. If I'm not running as fast as I can, there is no air movement for them. We had an incident the first time I took it out, and both kids got heat exhaustion in it. We bought fan to put in there and plan to only use it during cooler parts of the day, but I still haven't gotten the nerves to take it back out again.

This reminded me of my wedding. We rented a pavillion at the park, and the park gates opened at 7 but the wedding was at 9, so we had to cram set up into fewer than 2 hours. I was hanging garland in my wedding dress and dad was setting up food in his suit and my guests were putting out center pieces because my wedding planner was an hour late.

Scary! Yeah I'd be nervous about taking it out again too. I was surprised by the good deals I saw on Craigslist.

Hopefully it all goes off perfectly! I'm the same way about parties though - since we also never have then because our place is too small. When we get a house I'll probably become annoying trying to throw all the perfect parties.
This came up on FB because I am required by law to get my dog fixed. What are the health benefits of having your pet spayed or neutered? The only benefit I knew of was that it would help with over population and such.
Guys, I ran out of stuff to say. Um. We haven't eaten in the dining room for a month now because that's where we park our bikes. Also, there is no AC in our house, so it can get to 90+ degrees in the dining room. The kitchen in worse. I try not to do anything involving the oven. We order pizza a lot in the summers.
