We got the Motorola one bc you can attach up to four cameras and swap between them. So far have only needed one since the babies are sleeping in the same crib, but it will be nice eventually.

I have been eyeballing that one. I have heard better reviews on the Motorolas over the Summer Infant.
Customer service is amazing if you by chance have an issue. I honestly was wowed by the company.
Like Motorola and Summer Infant, you can add cameras - up to 4. The best part (and the only camera on the market with the feature) is for an extra $11 you can buy a wide angle lens. This allows you to see the whole room. Prefect for monitoring two kids...and eventually toddler bed situations.
We had to separate our twins into different rooms because of their shenanigans when freed. We have the wide angle lens for both rooms and it's great to see where they are at all times.
It has great reviews on Amazon too. The price is also nice comparatively. We have the DXR-8.
We have a Levana video monitor with two cameras. I have it positioned so we can see both cribs with one camera, and the other camera is in DD and DS's room, but you could put both cameras in the same room, too. I like that it has intercom (that is what persuaded me to this one over the Infant Optics one), though my older two like to steal it and pretend it is a walkie talkie. Here is the Link
We have a foscam camera (for our DS)from Amazon and bought an app that allows you to use your phone, iPad, computer as the monitor. You can adjust the camera from the phone etc to scan the room. Thinking of doing the same for the twins.

Thanks for this. We are definitely interested in a monitor that we can view on our phones, but it seems that a lot of models don't have this capability. I'll look into the foscam camera.

We have this one for DS and love it. The range and features are great, and we will be adding 2 more cameras for these babies.
