You want random? Oh, I got random for you tonight. (Possible triggers.)
1. I just freaking turned a positive on a Clearblue Digi, baby! In the evening!! On only something like three hours holding...after chugging water all day because it was so stinkin' hot and we walked all over creation! YEAH! This one might make it!!!!
5. We had ice cream after lunch and frozen yogurt after dinner.
8. I have successfully made it 24 hours without telling anyone (except DH, BFF, and you guys) that I'm pregnant. That is nearly miraculous.
1. (disclaimer: not a Cowboy's fan)
5. Me >>>
8. I am having a really hard time with this one. I have already told far too many (had to tell work because of the type of work I do, too many hazards to not take precautions asap)... But it's' killing me not being able to announce it officially. Do not tell Alma your secrets. She can't keep them.

So what's everyone up to this fine morning? T minus 5 hours until my appointment. So fucking nervous it's not funny. Needless to say I will be completely useless at work today.

Work. Work. Work My appt is also this afternoon, but it's just my FTM class thing, I don't think they do anything to you except talk. I am still excited tho!

My place doesn't have anything like this. Or at least they didn't tell me to come in for anything like it. I did find this OB while TTC so we went over a lot during my first appointment.

It's midwife and OB practice, so I think they like to make sure people know what they signed up for and they are big on education.
So the best decision I've made so far this pregnancy was making homemade lemonade on Sunday. I've been dreaming about having a glass(es) when I get home all afternoon.
So I got this honey ginger lemonade it was awesome, ginger is great for ms too. But at $7 per 10 oz bottle I'm going to have to make my own.
That does sound good. I'm going in search of a recipe now.
Ok so there were multiple recipes. Here are 2 that are pretty comparable. I'm probably going to try the second one. The first has added sugar, and I think the honey alone will be enough sweetness. Plus I like a more tart/lemony lemonade.

Ok, I went back to the M'16 BMB on TD and invited someone over here who seems cool. She will probably think I'm a creep and not come, but oh well.
Meanwhile, their ring leader is going off over there about how much higher the food standards are in the UK and how she has never gotten sick before (yes, you read that correctly) and how sorry she feels for us Americans that our lack of food safety means we can't have so many foods during pregnancy.
Having lived extensively in both places, I have friends who have given birth there as well, so I know they have slightly more rigorous beef standards (due to mad cow in the 90s), but are pretty much just the same on their pregnancy avoidance lists as we are and have the same issues with factory farming, processed foods, etc. So I am like,
I love your response by the way. Someone on Feb 16 is trying to find out the sex based on the heart rate and PEOPLE ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS! UGH!
She just wrote back to me on there and now I'm really pissed and just wasted time responding to her. I would honestly consider participating in the BMB over there occasionally if it weren't for her.

What a total cunt.
She is bad. I had to hold myself back from going after her then/than grammar mistake. Having lived abroad for several years of my life, I have a lot of love for experiencing things a different way and I am first to acknowledge where the US has its shortfalls, but I have a short fuse for the automatic, facile dismissal of all things American. It is not cute and it does not make you look sophisticated.

Would it be really bad if I mailed her a bottle of the recalled listeria water? That would be bad right?

It's covered with LISTERIA because it's AMERICAN, Sheila. Dirty American toxic nuclear listeria water. Just prove her point whydoncha.
Haha I don't think I would have cared if I weren't already annoyed by her anti-vax, pee-on-every-thread, 20 moving gifs approach to life.
Wait what? Link.
I don't think I can find it. It was weeks ago, when I was first lurking. She didn't outright say it, but she implied through a "Western medicine doesn't fix everything" comment that she might be anti-vax. I didn't ask her to clarify at the time, but I am suspicious... I could be wrong, though! She does say she's a scientist, and most scientists are not anti-vaxxers.

"scientists" is a very broad term. Scientologists consider themselves part of that category. That and I've known scientists who are BSC. Like complete BSC.
