My dad and husband are working on moving the washer/dryer on the main floor into the bathroom (so I can have a pantry). Since they had to move the washer/dryer out to measure it, I took advantage of the situation to mop underneath. Omg. It was disgusting (but really who moves the washer/dryer?).

Ugh my accomplishment is that I fed my dog and child! We had such a bad night last night! After 3 weeks of amazing 8 hour stretches of sleep DD refused to sleep last night!!
I put away all my laundry, moved all my maternity clothes into the attic, and sent DH to the local church thrift shop with two huge bags of clothes to donate! Now to do the laundry that's been piling up in the hamper since I had no baskets for the clean clothes, and to put away the baby's clothes...
Since DH is home today he was able to give LO a bath and settle him in for his morning nap. This allowed me to completely clean up the kitchen, pump for freezer supply and get a load of laundry. We may even attempt a trip to Costco!
I have a baby shower to go to (at a cafe) which will be my first lone outing with baby. It's 45 minutes away. I would probably bail if it weren't for a super close friend who threw one of my showers. Will report back later on the success or failure of the venture.

Everyone is getting so much done'! This thread makes me hopeful My success is that I (so far) have not freaked out that DH is leaving tomorrow for a 3 day business trip. This will be my longest period alone w LO.
LO slept for 5 hours last night, which made me feel human again! So, in turn, I organized my toddlers home school curriculum. Yeah. We are going to start on Monday! She is excited and so am I. I think I am most excited to get into a routine!

This is a Friday Success but whatever, I'm still proud. I successfully showered and bathed LO (the shower way, thanks to the Unnecessary thread ) and then started and completely filed our tax return!

I went for a walk with the babes each day this week! Feeling proud of that. Yesterday I brought the girls by my school to say hi to my colleagues and managed to cause quite a stir since a bunch of kids were staying for a volleyball tourney. They all wanted to see the babies!
Success 1 - lo is finally asleep for a nap. On me instead of in rnp, but I'm taking what I can get. Success 2 - nobody has killed fil. He is visiting until tomorrow and we've both hidden from him using the baby as excuse.
Oh yeah. And success 3 is the glass of wine I'm having tonight.

I went for a (painful and very slow and short) run today! It will be a long time before I make it to my prepreg speed (still fairly slow) and mileage but a mom's gotta start somewhere!!!

I went to the library and to the grocery store by myself. DH Stayed home with LO. He slept in his swing the whole time I was gone. He took a 4 hour nap, so we were able to get some cleaning and organization done after I got home. I also plan to sign up for my progressive nursing certification and start studying for that. Got a lot done today! Will probably have a glass of wine tonight.
It wasn't pretty but it was nice to get out of the house.
I'm jealous of anyone who enjoys running. I don't understand how it's possible, I hate it so much. I've tried countless times, and have never gotten any enjoyment out of it.

I enjoy the way I feel after more than how I feel during. It's also the only way I can keep any weight off unless I eat like a rabbit.

I can understand that. I enjoy other forms of exercise, I use an exercise bike for an hour a day. Running hurts though, and not just like a "feel the burn" kind of pain, but like "my shins are splintering, and my ankles are breaking" kind of pain.

What curriculum are you using? I am homeschooling my girls, too. My oldest is almost 4.5, so it's just preschool/pre-k stuff right now. I am loving the looks of Sonlight curriculum. :-)

So much this. I wish I could run, because aside from the exercise benefits I know how many people find it so invigorating. But it just makes my knees feel like they're going to explode.
also jealous of you ladies running. and those of you having sex. (oh and whoever is having bloody mary's). I'm still having gross bloody stuff and too nervous to jog until 6 week pp appt.

Probably a fluke but we had no witching hour(s) last night. Nice quiet evening with a cuddly baby.
Today I sorted clothes for thredup, consignment, and donations. There's still more to do but I've been meaning to get started for a while. Along those lines my h finally wired a light in our stairway which has been on the to do list for months.
