1. I pooped. Still having trouble at 4.5 weeks postpartum. 2. I took a shower and washed my hair. 3. I made lunch - oodles of noodles and a grilled cheese sammich.
I feel ya with number 1. Stool softeners, Metamucil and prunes are my friend. I will never take normal pooping for granted again.
+1 on the pooping. I'm 7 weeks PP, it's getting super old. But today I pooped then could actually sit afterward, I'm calling it progress.
DH is traveling overnight, left early this AM so I'm giving myself the benefit of the doubt today. It's my first night on my own so a little nervous. I did manage to feed myself, throw in baby laundry, and set up my diaper subscription on Amazon Mom. Probably wouldn't have done the laundry but LO peed on all the swaddles and he won't sleep without it.

Seriously, how long does it take for your butt to go back to normal??? My lady parts have been pretty good for a while. I am so done with the whole razor blade feeling.

Can you get cloth diapers with a subscription on that?
I haven't shaved my legs since before I went into labor, the hair still hasn't grown back.... I'm 5 weeks PP. What the.. I mean, that's a success, right?
stormygrace I don't know but I can check. Any specifics?
Eta: I searched and got subscription-eligible diaper liners by gDiapers and Bum Boosa. I don't know much about cloth diapering so let me know if you have any ?s.
FYI, I don't think the labels for cloth diaper products are very accurate on amazon, I keep getting organic diapers popping up under cloth covers.

Yeah I just use plain prefolds so those won't work. Thanks though!
All you running ladies: what sports bra are you using? I'm normally able to just wear whatever I want from Target, but I know that won't work for my BFing chest.
When I ran I used my regular sports bra. It was a bit tight but I just made sure to pump pre run and it wasn't an issue. I figured if I leaked I had enough layers and I got all gross from run anyway. I may buy a couple in a larger size but it wasn't bad. I guess depends on how much your size has increased

You bet. It's free for the first month if there is stuff you want to order once. Stick it to the man!!

DH and I went out for the day -- to the mall and some other places. I managed to NIP twice, we used the stroller for the first time, and we all survived the day. LO got some new clothes out of the trip too!
I finally spent the Victoria Secret gift card that has been sitting in my wallet since my baby shower. I used it to buy new workout clothes to get rid of the last bit of baby weight!
Probably a fluke but we had no witching hour(s) last night. Nice quiet evening with a cuddly baby.
Today I sorted clothes for thredup, consignment, and donations. There's still more to do but I've been meaning to get started for a while. Along those lines my h finally wired a light in our stairway which has been on the to do list for months.
Oh I envy you! Just ended our 3.5 hour "witching" aka cluster feeding! I won't be sad when we have moved on from this stage!
I survived my first week back at work and away from LO. I cried everyday, but we made it through. Very proud that I figured out the logistics of getting up, showered, and dressed....LO nursed, step daughter up,fed and ready for school, both girls out the door and dropped off at 2 different locations as well as pre-packing baby's daycare bag, my work bag, my pumpnig bag ( and related supplies for each)!

I forgot a success yesterday when I posted. I wore my pre-pregnancy jeans out yesterday, they fit and looked great. It's the first time in almost 2 months that I have worn something other than yoga pants. It felt awesome to not have that band on my pants.
Totally a sunday success but idc I'm amazed with myself. We have had a pile (mountain) of clean clothes stacked in a corner of our dining room for a week that just keeps getting bigger.. Well I just folded all of it. My laundry is officially all caught up!
This is us, except all the clean laundry is in LO's crib, heck she doesn't sleep in it, we might as well use it for something. I hate folding laundry.

Okay how terrible is it that I read the crib thing and thought "Ooh good idea!"
I am a nerd and write on an online rpg based off my favorite books. I've managed two posts this morning, so I'm feeling fairly successful and relaxed!
I used to take this to the next level and play on things called MUSH/MUX/MUDs. They were basically servers where people could log in and do text-based roleplaying in real time. I did this for probably 15 years and only stopped because all of the people I liked to do this with got super busy (as did I). I'm completely jealous of everyone who still does text-based roleplaying.
I can't even find a freaking group to do tabletop gaming in person any more. *tableflip*
It's been years since I played but anybody use to play gemstone? That was my favorite in college! Many lost hours of sleep playing that at night.
