House-hunting in this market is even less romantic than I expected. We just met with a realtor, and I asked him to be frank, and he said it's going to be hard, and we need to be ready to pull the trigger. I feel like we are speed-dating houses, which we'll have to spend a lot more time with than a bad dinner if they end up sucking. It's terrifying! He started about asking about our dreams and I laughed and said "yah, this will not be our dream house. We're ok with that."
House hunting is crazy right now. I just need a damn relator to tel me whAt i can sell my damn house for!!
Calling relator #3 tomorrow
We are in the middle of selling/buying right now. We went on the market back in April and got lucky to have offers right away. Try to ask around for recs on a realtor. I don't know where you live (we are in the northeast) but it seems there was/is a lot of activity on the buying front. We had so many people through our house in the 1.5 weeks we were on the market and had 2 offers. We got kinda lucky on the buying end because I think things slowed down a little when we were putting in the offer on the new house.
its very stressful especially with kids and I don't want to think about physically moving but it's really a great move for us to a much bigger house and fabulous school system. Good luck!
So the 9 month appt went pretty well. He's a big boy (21.5 lb, 29 inches) and she said he's on track developmentally. However his other ear is now infected uggh! No ENT yet but it's seriously a matter of time. He had one shot and didn't even cry
Glad your appointment went well and at least they caught the ear infection. Hopefully he won't need to see the ENT.
We're not not trying. We're not trying either, so we'll see what happens.
Confession.... I POAS yesterday.... But it was negative. My cycles are not exactly regular yet so I had to be sure
My cycles just started coming regular again. DH was like "oh so you can get pregnant again now." I was like well yeah technically that could have already happened but not yet. Slow your roll dude.
Right before we found out we were expecting we were planning strip to Santorini for last fall. I was really bummed that we had to cancel those plans because I wasn't wanting to travel at 35+ weeks pregnant.

That is about the saddest thing ever. I was in my friend's wedding at 33 weeks and then had to fly again at 35 weeks and both were crappy trips, and that was a 1.5 hour flight.

In country I probably would have been okay. But I wasn't okay with international travel. I'm also imagining that the last thing I wanted to do that pregnant was be stuck on a 10+ hour flight.
