I'm being a PW, I know, but my baby got his first haircut today, and while I love it, I'm gonna miss his long beautiful hair to play with! He looks like such a grown boy now! Still my little stud! Here's a before and after:
DS has ridiculous amounts of hair and had to get his first cut at 9 months. He did okay the first couple of times and then started loosing his ever loving mind. Maybe it's for tr best, because now he needs a haircut every two weeks and that's ridiculously expensive. I've been cutting his hair for a year now and he's happy as a clam. Kids are weird.

So cute!
I saw this past week of my Facebook feed that some new grandparents I know got the kid for about a week to babysit and took the kid to get his first hair cut. If I was that mom I would be LIVID.

I would flip the fuck out. DS is watched by his grandparents through the week, and his grandpa has been wanting his hair cut for quite sometime. I think he knew better then todo something so stupid. I was sorta a little pissed because DH's mom just happened to be walking by the haircut studio (in the mall) while Christopher was getting his haircut. I wanted it to be just us. Not that big of a deal, but c'mon with the whole, I was just walking by and heard him crying! You knew we were going to go get his haircut...

This makes me glad we live 8 hours away from both sets of grandparents! I know both my mother and DH's mom would pull stuff like this.
