So DH are just starting to talk about plans and a timeline for house hunting, fun right?
This morning I was looking at homes in our area, and before I could put in the correct money parameters, the first house that came up was selling for $99M. That's crazy right? Even If we had that kind of money, I don't think any house is worth that much. I love looking at houses we can't afford, so my game is this: Find the most expensive house that you can find in your area online, and post a picture here. You don't have to post the area the house is in if you don't feel comfortable. Go

I can't find a pic of the one from earlier, but this one is selling for $34,750,000 in Wellington, FL

This is the most expensive one I could find, sold in 2007. It is shockingly not in the area I expected (Novi, MI). A lot of Novi is really super middle class. The more you know! $14.5 million.

I live downriver, so I figured the metro area would have more expensive houses than just... here, lol. Not so classy down hurr.

This lovely home is a waterfront property in the Adirondacks selling for a mere $10.5 million. It has 18 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, but only 1 half bath. THE HORROR!!!

Not impressive looking for that price, but it's in a ridiculously expensive area.

I'm mobile and too lazy to upload the pic, but I searched a few surrounding towns and this is the most expensive I could find. $4,995,000. I'm actually surprised there isn't anything for more.

Houses here maxed around 3.5 M Land is abundant, so you are literally just paying for the house. I found this apartment beside the Chateau Laurier for 2.5M and I thought per sq ft this would be the most expensive property in Ottawa:

Well, apparently I live in a more low-cost-of-living place than I originally thought!! These 5b8ba homes tie in my area at 3.2m .... time to start saving up! LOL jk

I don't think there's anything crazy expensive in my little town. But this is the most expensive in the city an hour and a half away. I especially like the home theatre.

This is totally random, because our house is NOTHING close to this expensive, but this one happens to be directly across the street from my house. It was listed as 2nd most expensive in the area. This is what I wake up and look at every morning...from my 1200 square foot house...

Here's the most expensive listing in the GTA region of Ontario. $25M. Only 5 bedrooms, but 14 bathrooms, and also features a potting cabin (wtf?) and a butler's loft.

The listing also mentions that the location is close to public transit. I guess that's in case your butler needs to take the bus somewhere?
