Glad to hear you and LO are still doing fine. What is on the menu this morning?
No idea. Trying not to plan too much until I'm cleared to eat and drink. I haven't eaten since noon yesterday, so whenever they ask if I'm feeling lightheaded/dizzy, I answer yes, followed by a slightly passive/aggressive "could be because I need to eat."
wow telos, what a weekend for you! I am glad you are at the hospital and being monitored and all is well with you and LO. I hope you can eat soon and get some answers for the bleeding! Keeping you guys in my thoughts !
telos, I hope the doc has some good info for you! Glad to hear the night was uneventful. And I hope you get something yummy to eat when you get cleared.
So glad to hear the bleeding is slowing, but how frustrating that they have no explanation. Your husband better get you the biggest, most indulgent breakfast once you get cleared to eat! Still thinking if you and your LO!
What a scary day yesterday! I'm so glad to hear that baby is looking good, but you must be so frustrated that the source of the bleeding hasn't been identified. I hope that the docs have some answers for you soon. Fingers crossed also that they let you eat soon!
Didn't read any of this until today! What a crazy night for you! I'm so happy your baby is fine, I hope this scare is an isolated anomaly and you have an uneventful rest of your pregnancy with yummy food in the near future!
Waiting for a detailed, level II scan down at MFM. My OB isn't ruling out a minor/partial placental abruption. If anything looks off on the scan, they're inducing today. But if the scan looks good, I'm going home. 37 weeks is borderline (some babies still end up in NICU) so my OB wants to have a reason other than the bleeding and spaced out contractions to induce, but the bleeding wasn't normal and the scan should tell us more. Happy to have a plan for now.
This is so bizarre. You're bleeding, but no one knows why. They don't seem to be doing anything, but you can't eat. I'm impressed that you've been able to restrain yourself to a few passive-aggressive snarks. I'd be full on HULK SMASH! hangry by now.
At least Netflix understands. Netflix always understands.

Sounds like your OB is on top of things. I'm so curious what the scan is going to show! Thanks for the updates.
Hooray for FOOD!! I feel somewhat more like a person again after some roast turkey breast, veggies, mashed potatoes and fruit (not going too over the top, because there's still a chance I'll be induced). Oh, I also raided the hospital bag H brought over.
Scan went well, but didn't really give us clear answers. I'm waiting for my OB to consult with the two high risk doctors and get back to me about where we go from here. We do know that fluid looks good and baby looks good, which is awesome. He's estimated to weigh over 8 lbs. already (also awesome). But the problem is they don't typically diagnose an abruption based on an ultrasound. (Sometimes it shows up, but not always, and the diagnosis is typically clinical. This amount of bleeding is one indicator, also contractions.)
So, here we are again. The MFM doc painted a slightly different picture for us after the scan and was leaning towards an induction, because the risk of sending me home still bleeding (even if only a little at this point) is high (as he put it, "worst case" we get "no baby") compared to the low risk of holding me and inducing now. Way to scare the crap out of me, dude. Waiting to hear from my OB - she's typically a voice of cautious reason. So much waiting and back and forth, but ... at least now I can eat.
