AW - baby telos (updates in thread and birth story)

Heading to the hospital right now - traffic is crazy. Bleeding large quantities of bright red blood. Starting a new thread, because it's likely AF too. No contractions. No pain. Just a lot of blood. So nervous. We were at my parents and don't have hospital bags! Keep you updated when I can.

You can call 911 for an escort if you need it. That is what was recommended to us at our L&D class, if you need to get there quickly and are having trouble. Good luck!

Oh gosh! Sending prayers and hoping you get there quickly. I have a friend who went through something that sounds like that same thing at about 36 weeks, and the baby had kicked something too hard and that's what caused all the bleeding.

UPDATE

Thanks, all! (You're awesome.) Made it to the hospital safely, and they knew we were coming so we got in fast. (I called my doctor and hospital first thing.) Baby looks good on the monitor, and I look good. No signs of previa or abruption, which is what they look for with this much blood. But it presents in a lot of different ways, so we just don't know. No AF, just a whole lot of blood. They're holding me captive to monitor the bleeding and the baby. Still bleeding, still gushes of bright red blood. So, I'm really frustrated. The on call doc isn't here, just the resident - and I appreciate that residents are highly trained, this is a really great hospital, but I'm just sitting in all of this blood and it keeps coming out, and feels like amniotic fluid but it's not. I know there's nothing else they can do. Just, no answers. Sorry for the vent.

tl;dr Baby boy might not be coming tonight afterall. I'm happy with that! Hanging out at the hospital on the monitor for the foreseeable future waiting for the bleeding to stop. No answers.
