I think we've got at least a few TTM+ on here, right? How much sooner did you show with #2+? I'm starting to notice my blump getting bigger and wondering if I'll be able to realistically hide it until we planned to tell family labor day weekend (I'll be 14w).

With my first, I didn't show until 20+ weeks. Looking back at the bump pictures I took, I'd give anything to look like that now haha. I gained 25lbs with #1. I got pregnant with #2 when DD1 was 8 months old. I think I showed around 16-17 weeks, and I also had no shame in wearing maternity pants by 10 weeks. I gained almost 40 with her. (Although I weighed less initially the 2nd time around)
With my 1st didn't really show until after 20w, 2nd baby others noticed just before 20w, and 3rd pregnancy at 15w I got called out and couldn't hide it. And here I am trying to hide it for 20weeks :/

This is #2 and DH said to me last night that he is starting to see a bump. I didn't start showing until 20w but am 17lbs lighter this time around. If I can make it out of the first trimester I'll be a happy camper.
Wow.. I can't believe how long you guys were able to hide it! I got really bloated, really quickly last time. The first thing I grew out of was underwear, you could actually see the details on my skin (TMI?) really early. I'm hoping to not get so bloated this time around (dreaming?), but I'm guessing it will be obvious to people who know me that I'm bigger by the end of first tri. Strangers didn't start asking me when I was due, etc. till around 25 weeks.

I've noticed my blump getting bigger, though I think it's more from gas/bloating. I didn't show until 20+ weeks with #1 so we'll see with this one. I'm hoping that because I'm still BFing that no one will even think to ask though...
As a FTM I started getting a little rounding of the belly at 15 weeks. I need to add, though, that I have a non-baby tummy on me anyways so it was hard to tell. I'm curious what other 2nd+ time mommies have noticed.
Note: I refuse to call it "showing", because we tend to notice a change in our bodies before a baby belly is obvious to others.

This! We may feel "huge" but usually no one else sees it.
arbe So true. The first time a stranger said something about my pregnancy was on our babymoon (at 18 weeks). The flight attendant asked if we had a stowaway. I thought that was cute.
The first time way too early. I had to come out at 10.5 weeks because people kept asking starting at 8 weeks (people who ask = rude as fuck btw). I had all the ivf meds and twins going on, so it was a lot of bloat!
This time around I'm hoping I can make it out of first tri at least. I started wearing looser tops awhile ago and always fake drink.

Yes!!! Why do people think thats ok!!! Someone came to ask if I was pregnant yet because she knew I had a m/c doesn't mean I'm going to tell you the second I get KU!!! WTF, When I'm ready to tell people I will who asks that?? I told her that's not something I'd like to discuss. Same for people who ask "are you going to have more kids?" like why is that your biz??
I can't remember exactly, but I know I started to show around 14w with my first, second I never lost the belly between pregnancies, so I was still in maternity pants when I got pregnant haha. I'd say I started to notice around 11 weeks. I'm extremely short waisted so that factors in.

Good to know. I'm definitely in the wear loose shirts camp these days. I am about the same size as I was when I got prego #1 and thought I had a little bump around 15-16 weeks, but I didn't really pop until 24 weeks I think. I'm hoping the loose shirts will hide it long enough. Anyone else stalking the other bmb hdbd threads? No, just me?
I looked about 5 months pregnant before I even got pregnant so I'm a little bit worried about how this whole hiding the belly thing is going to go. I lost the baby weight from #1 but the belly never fully deflated. A few months ago I wasn't sucking in or wearing spanx and someone asked how far along I was. Umm.. -6?
Oh and I still have a line down my belly so I really look like I'm about 6 months along.
With my first, people said they could see a bump around 15 weeks, but I think they were crazy and were trying to see things because they already knew I was pregnant. I definitely had a real bump, but you couldn't see it while clothed. I don't think it was noticeable until around 20 weeks.
With my second, I still had a bit of a belly, so my bump looked really strange for a while, but it popped out around 15 weeks.
I'm heavier now than I was at the end of my first pregnancy, so who knows how it will go this time. I'm guessing I'll just look really fat the whole time.

MadApple I was about the same weight when I got pregnant with DS1 that I am now. I was 30 lbs lighter with DS2. So yeah, I have the same fear about just looking fat this whole pregnancy. I've gained 20 lbs since January (oops.) I blame it on being on a steroid for my shoulder issues and my anti anxiety med. Not good.

I have a blump too. Before I was pregnant I wore this and someone asked if I was KU, so I'm expecting the questions early (and not wearing this dress again until I've announced). *snip*
That is so incredibly rude! I'll admit there are times I've wondered but that is NEVER something you should ask someone! Sad too because the dress is cute :/
