Can I asked why you never used it? What did you use instead?
I'm big on babywearing. Way more convenient for me personally. I suppose with two I may wear one and stroller the other but I can't imagine both needing the stroller that often. Plus a lot of the places we go (farmer's market, minor league ball games) are too crowded and inconvenient to bring strollers along.
Same here. Strollers are such a pain to load/unload and then to maneuver around a public space. We use the stroller occasionally for neighborhood walks but if we're going anywhere it's way easier to just put him in the carrier/wrap.
My FFFC is that I have totally strayed from my cruelty-free, healthy eating habits. Normally I eat really well and mostly vegan to the point where I actually crave healthy food. But these last few weeks.. it's been cheese-covered, processed everything. I hope my LO likes preservatives!
I thought I found the perfect double stroller and honestly not so useful. DD & DS can walk everywhere now so I'm going to invest in a Tula now wear the baby and each kid can still have a hand. Strollers especially doubles are just too bulky. I got a hand-me-down phil and ted jogger stroller that i'll used for theme park trips or something with a lot of walking but that's it.

Yes, another vote for babywearing. Although I'm looking at double jogging strollers. I have a $300 single jogging stroller that my mom found at a yard sale for $50. It's really nice but for how often I use it (park, walks, zoo trip) $50 was exactly how much I shouldn't spent. We didn't even get it until she was at least 6 months+. Ergo and woven wrap were our go to. I probably won't need/want a double until #2 is 6 m+. But then dd will be 2.5 so idk. I mean I know she'd still be a bit young to walk with us, but not going to need a stroller long enough to justify an expensive double. I'm thinking we'll try to find another yard sale find.
xxkimmy8xx, I'm not sure what DPO because I don't temp but I was probably around 5-6 weeks. I didn't get a positive FRER until the day of my missed period, if that helps.

I haven't been able to fall asleep the last few nights worrying about daycare and thinking I need to find a new job.
Don't get me started on daycare. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I feel it's too early to start looking, but at the same time I don't want to wait to long.

I'm in denial.
Before getting pregnant I was ALL OVER baby preparation research and pinterest and all that crap.
Now that I'm knocked up? Ehhhhhh... it can totally wait.

FFFC: I have 4 Tulas. And I'm thinking of getting a toddler for DD soon.

Oooh which ones? I just have one - grey zigzag - but my wrap stash reached epic proportions before I started destashing after my BFP.

Folk Birds was my first. Beakers (I'm a science nerd). Dinos for my husband. And a Girasol WC (I always forget if it's #6 or #26). All scored at retail thanks to awesome friends in my August 14 BMB :-)
I am really looking forward to babywearing but am terribly overwhelmed by all of the options. I will have a Beco Soleil (I am going to an event where that comes as a gift with the ticket I purchased) but otherwise, confuzzled.
Why would you need 4 carriers? I can see having more than one wrap if one is in the wash, but 4 seems like a lot.
For me it's not just the wash aspect but each wrap has a unique purpose/carrying style. I have a little, light size 2 wrap that I throw in the diaper bag for quick grocery store runs. I have a longer, thin size 5 that works great for wrapping around jackets for outdoor, chillier weather wrapping. I have a long, dense size 6 that works great for multi-layer carries. That's my go to for long-wearing days i.e. DS is sick and needs snuggles or we're going for a hike.
It's certainly possible to make do with 1 but I love having the flexibility of choice. Plus they're so purrty.
Like @pugsandwine, I took my last test when the control line was darker than the test line. Honestly, though, I have a horrible fear that when I go in on Monday, somehow the test will come back negative. Betas, ultrasound, HPTs...none of it seems to matter sometimes. PgAL is a mindfuck.
Can I confess that I want to know what DPO your test was darker than control because mine still isn't?! I know every person is different blah blah blah but it's still making me crazy.

How did you find them and how did you choose what you currently have. Teach me oh wrap guru!

I wasn't planning on getting a double stroller, but my best friend texted me last week and wanted to see if I wanted to buy hers from her since she's done with it. It's a sit and stand one, she's said it was like $250. Yay! She's selling it to me for $40. Can't pass that up. I think we will mostly baby wear/use the single stroller, but it'll be a nice option.

To a Tula addict, this is like asking "why do you have so many shoes?" If you're ever bored, go on Tula Love on FB. There are Tulas that sell for sooo much money, it's insanity.

A girl from high school posted on facebook last week that she's expecting in March. Everyone is obviously entitled to share their news when they want to, but it just feels so weird to me. Like you pee on a test then post it on facebook.. I don't know why I'm bothered by it.
Baby wearing peeps, can you point me in the direction of baby wearing for dummies primer? I have a Ergo (I think?) I got from a BST site but I hardly used it and it seems huge for a newborn.

I peed on two sticks the day I found out. I really want to pee on another one and I would totally buy a bunch to hold me till my first appointment but DH would kill me because he thinks more then one is a waste of money.

Babywearing 102 on Facebook is a great place to start! And if you want to stick with the Ergo you can usually find inserts on the swaps for pretty cheap.

I'm abstaining from sex for at least another month, possibly longer, much to DH's disappointment. But with my history I'm way too much of a wreck to do it. Hell I even got super nervous when the ob did swabs last week.
