Hello everyone! I am currently one week late but 3 tests had all showed BFN? but I'm not out till I'm really out right? I am holding onto hope. Anyone miss their period and test negative to later on get a positive test?...anyone? I can't be alone in this right.
Also, I have tested with both pink and blue dye tests. Hoping I get to stay with you ladies!

ok. let's try this again.
You're never "late", you just O'd later then expected. The only way to confirm O is with temping or an ultrasound. Do you temp? If you do, you can link your chart and we can take a look at it.
A negative test means you're not pregnant at this time. Take a test once every week until any of following happens: a. You get a positive b. You get your period c. 60 days pass without a positive or your period, and then call your doctor.

I don't temp so the answer to that is no. I always start on the same day without fail though. I might just be grasping at straws. I had an early loss in April and was really hoping this was my month

Never thought about ovulating later. Thanks for the insight would you happen to have any resources you could recommend to getting started with temping?

I'm truly sorry for your loss, but I don't want to give you false hope. Temping is a really great way to know your cycles. The GKU board has a TON of knowledge and people that will guide you while TTC. Bodies don't really go by a calendar. They're assholes and do what they want.

Thank you I appreciate your honesty a lot more than someone giving me the puppies and rainbows go around. I will look into the resources on that board. Thanks again!

Get yourself a basal body thermometer, you can get them at most drug stores, walmart, etc. Then sign up for fertility friend. Take your temperature every morning at the same time BEFORE YOU GET OUT OF BED. It should be the first thing you do. Then track your results using fertility friend. It's a good thing to start now and get into the habit so next cycle you'll have a grasp of what to do. Remember that you are looking for trends or patterns with the temps, so don't focus on a single one. Trust me, it can make you crazy if you do.

Everything SheilaTheTank said... And when you head over to GKU make sure you read the newbie blog and lurk around for a little while to get a feel for the board. There is a ton of good info in the newbie blog (it's pinned at the top and says "read this first," I believe) to get you started.
