I'm still in bed listening to DH snore. I can't complain because I know I've been snoring like a beast here at the end.
Some of our friends had us over for dinner last night and surprised us with a little shower. It was super sweet. We had an amazing time and laughed our asses off playing Cards Against Humanity. Everyone had a little too much to drink (except me obviously) and it was hilarious just watching those goofballs. We didn't get home until 1:30 am so I'm sure I will have a nap at some point today.
Going to breakfast in about an hour and a half with my parents and sister.
DH should be on his way home from up north. We are supposed to get a good amount of snow, so I wonder if he's gonna go out snowmobiling here since his up north trip kinda sucked.
Morning ladies. I'm sitting here watching SATC on E and trying to finish my shower thank yous (from my shower in mid-December. oops, a little delayed getting them out- please tell me I'm not the worst) while I slowly sip on this cup of coffee. My counter is covered in cards and papers and all sorts of stuff I would be thrilled to get through today. That's the goal anyway!

Add me to the laying here listening to DH sleep. I'm so hungry but I'm trying to hold out just a little longer so that I can fix us both breakfast before church.
I finished up the artwork for the nursery last night and I love how it turned out. It's going to be hung on the opposite wall from the mural I finished up a couple of months ago. Now we just have to refinish the crib that my FIL built for DH when he was born 27 years ago. I can't wait to see everything put together and in it's place, even if he won't actually be using the crib for a couple of months.
Sorry for the huge pics btw. I'm mobile at the moment and still trying to get the hang of this.
Our furnace crapped out overnight. DH is trying to get it going but he is pretty sure this is a fix for a repairman. At least it happened before the baby came. Our fireplace is keeping the house warm enough until someone can come and fix it. I sure hope they work on Sundays!
I also just went through my breast pump/parts and made sure its working and it makes me cringe. I spent so much time with that pump and I still hate looking at it!
Up from 2am-4am and up for good at 7. I'm so jealous of my family's ability to sleep.
39w today! Going to get my DDs hair cut for the first time. The place we are going is in a mall so we're going to spend some time there too (play area, kiddie train, lunch). It should be fun. Have a great Sunday!

I'm up doing the same as most of you waiting for DH to wake up. I kinda want him to wake up and make biscuits and gravy but I think the chances of that are slim to none. Today is laundry day and actually making the freezer meals that I bought ingredients for yesterday. I wish I had some motivation but it's not happening. T-minus one week until I start my new job! I'm not sure this baby will hold out until then but we will see!

10 days until due date and ive been up since 4 am Im almost about to just give up sleep now. Its going to happen soon enough anyways when the babe comes. Ive already had breakfast 1. Im starving and have brunch plans in 3 hours.. Looks like ill be eating breakfast 2 now and it will be a 3 breakfast type day!
Ugh badw0lf my feet blew up last week too (though better this morning...) and my midwife said the same things: bp is fine, drink more water, etc. Sucks.
Anyone want to be honest with me if my sig is too big? I'm struggling with BBcode but think I've got it handled. Input appreciated!

badw0lf I have the same thought about my ankles. I really don't know how they can get any bigger, but I'm surprised everyday :/ glad your BP is still good though!
I don't understand why I'm so tired during the week but on weekends can't sleep past about 7:30. Why, why why? Its so hard to get up at 7:30 during the week!
Also just looked at the weather report and its pretty much on and off snow all week. I'm 1 week away from D.D so this makes me very unhappy. Running errands today just in case, and I think I'll treat myself to a pedicure while I"m out.

The impending snow tomorrow and Tuesday is stressing me out. I'm hoping for no snow days or delays but it's not sounding like that will happen. Damn you, Mother Nature! If we have snow days there's no freaking way I'm going to be able to finish testing the kids I need to before my contract is up/baby comes - whichever comes first. Need to remember to breath and that there's only so much I can do - health first!

Good morning, all! My spam today is that we used our completion coupons so now we've got a bunch of stuff on its way. Our furniture still isn't here yet though...it was supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago. I wish we knew what was going on to cause this delay (company just says it could be another 2 weeks, when I'll be at wk 39). Tough to organize stuff when you can't place things in drawers and shelves where they belong.

I'm hoping we don't have closings the next few days, too. We're auditioning 20 girls for the part of Gretl in our hs production of Sound of Music. I'd really like to get that nailed down and some rehearsals set up with her before leaving it up to the rest of the staff, too.
Morning all! Thanks everyone who voted for me to co-mod with Sugah. I don't know that we'll really need both of us, but at least we've got it in place JIC! In other spammy news, I didn't sleep very well last night and then I finally got up at 6:30 this morning. Luckily we don't have anything going on today (that I know of).
hollydfromtn those look amazing! I am so jealous of your artistic prowess
Irishcurls your siggy is perfect sized - there are plenty of people have ones much larger.
I'm beginning to wonder if it's possible for my feet to explode. Doc isn't worried as my BP isn't high and nothing else is swelling but I have these painful creases in my ankles/toes and my heels are cracking. I guess I'm just at that stage. *le'sigh*
I feel the same way! My BP and urine is always fine (so not concerned about pre-e), but damn my calves, ankles, feet (and now face-ugh) are swelling. I also have two creases from fat rolls on my ankles- it's nuts!
nomnomasaur0426 love tit or whatever they are calling it now to sympathize! Health first is right!
Going to breakfast with my parents and sister just like ambz06060 this morning! My amazing coworkers/friends are having a little shower for me this afternoon and I told them I just want to hang out and eat at the restaurant they picked!
I woke up early and knocked out some lesson plans for the week so hopefully today will be relaxing from now on!

Morning ladies!! I'm watching DH snuggle with LO after I scarfed down pancakes for breakfast. We are still in the hospital until at least tomorrow. I'm on magnesium until 4pm today which means no shower until then.
Fx the furnace gets fixed. Sorry about the swelling. Fx Yall get some sleep.

For the past few weeks DH and I have been going out to breakfast at our favorite spot on Sunday mornings. I have to share the gloriousness that was my cinnamon strudel pancake:
The snow storm predicted for Monday night is making me nervous. They don't know how much we are going to get and I have my 37 week appointment at 9:15 Tuesday morning.
We watched Whiplash last night--good movie!
We already hit up the grocery store this moring after breakfast and picked up a few things--greek yogurt (keeps me regular-degular), Dr. Pepper, and lavandar epson salt for my baths
This morning when I went to the bathroom there was definitely some mucus and a tiny but of blood. This is exactly how it started last time! Sorry I forgot to take a pic for you ladies.
In other news I was up from 4 to 6. At one point I heard a funny car noise and looked out the window. This chick had stopped her car, got out, went around the back to check out the problem, squatted down, fell over, got up, pulled up her pants and then staggered back to her car. Clearly fucking drunk. Eventually she started up her car again and drove further down the street. I can see the exit/entrance to our complex so I know she didn't leave. I'm mad at myself for not calling the cops. I should have.

mrsclark731 I'm with ya. I am stressing out like WOAH I'm 39w tomorrow and I have NST & my weekly check at 9:15 tomorrow. Snow is NOT my friend. I might go into labor stressing about the snow. lol
Add me to the fat feet/ poor sleep clubs. I quite literally feel your pain!
We picked up our last piece of nursery furniture yesterday, but don't have a finished room to put it in. Hopefully sometime in the next 5 weeks we'll get that figured out.
I really hope my Sunday Funday involves hibachi steak and sushi. It seems to have become my go-to weekend craving.
I'm taking it easy, watching a movie with my girls this morning. The weather is cold by decent (after several days in a row of rain) so we are planning to pack a picnic and head to the park, in an hour or two. The park has tons of great trails so I'm hoping to get lots of hiking in. My hips have been bothering me this morning and it's so much better if I get in some physical activity daily.
DH is also (hopefully) finishing up our bedroom/bathroom mini-remodel today. We've been in this house for less than a year. It's a great house but when we bought it every single room needed updating. We've taken care of most of them but kept putting ours off, since we are the only ones who see it but DH has suddenly become obsessed with getting it done immediately. This is his second weekend working on it and I think he's almost done. I also think he's going through his own little version of nesting.

Oh I do have some spam. Drama. My H had DD last night while I went to dinner with friends. He went to change her diaper in a public bathroom and this guy was creeping up on him trying to watch my daughter and making H very uncomfortable. He finally told the guy he needed to back off and these two other big guys in the bathroom saw what was going on and grabbed the guy by the shirt and forced him out of the bathroom. H finished changing her and and when he left the bathroom, the two guys were there with the creepy guy and a manager of the store. The manager asked if they should call the cops. I don't think they did but they escorted the guy out.

That's so creepy. Glad those other guys were around.
Not too much going on here today. I have to head out and get my nieces bday present. Party is next week and I almost forgot. Old navy and toys r us here I come.
Might head to target and get some other last minute baby stuff.
Had my work shower yesterday. Such a great time and so happy they were all so happy and wanted to share stuff with me .

misshart00, I think I'd cry too, people can be creepy. Glad your DD is ok.
I'm also in the didn't sleep much last night group. Our cat decided that 3 am was a good time to try and break into the container of dog treats so the loud bang woke us up. Took me a while to fall back asleep so I camped out on the couch for the rest of the night.
