Have you found any really great baby or pregnancy-related books, phone apps, or websites? I have a few I like, but really would love more suggestions. Here is what I've found useful so far:
BOOKS "Ina May's Guide to Childbirth" "Ina May's Guide to Breastfeeding"
APPS What to Expect
WEBSITES www.pregnantchicken.com (A hilarious pregnancy blog that is also very informative).
DS: Born 8/2/12 at 31 Weeks due to unexplained PTL -------------- ISO a new baby to wear since 10/13 - DX: MFI IVF w/ ICSI - July '15: 13R, 13F, 1T - 6 Frosties - BFP - It split, It's Twins!
Apps: Ovia has been pretty good, I used ipregnant last time, it was eh. Books: I liked Girlfriends Guide last go around and Belly Laughs. Not super informative but the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy was great.
I always liked the "Your Pregnancy Week By Week" book. Less preachy than What To Expect and easy to read, plus places to track stuff like appts, weight, etc.
Not sure if you want an Aussie's viewpoint but there's a book called "Up the Duff" (Aussie for "Expecting") that's really good and funny. I've just realised they did an app too. Off to download that.
I read WTEWYE last time around and found it ok, and the *shudder* Babycenter app. Forgive me?
PCOS / Hypothyroidism TTC - March 2009 BFP1 DS 06/2012 TTC - July 2013 BFP2 Due 03/2016, MMC 08/2015, Emergency D&C BFP3 Due 02/2017, MC 07/2016, Natural MC BFP4 Due 04/2017, Boy!
As for apps, Sudoku. No joke, I used it all through my last pregnancy to keep track of just how badly pregnancy brain was affecting me. I was so bad by the 3rd trimester, it's a wonder I was able to keep my job.
