This makes me so happy! The one they did last week had a picture of everyone eating from hundreds of boxes of pizza at the end, so I am motivated!! Either way, I'm packing beer. I did an Oktoberfest race one time and there was NO BEER! Not letting that happen again.
Didn't get any sleep last night but not because of the baby, she only woke up once. One of my dogs is terrified of thunderstorms and we had a big (long) one last night. He just started puppy Prozac and when there are storms he gets a sedative but none of it seems to be helping. Unfortunately he is destructive when he is scared and does things like pull the molding off the door frame. My husband is tired of paying for repairs and wants to rehome him. I don't want to because I consider him part of the family and have had him for almost six years. I spent the whole night stopping him from chewing on things. I don't know what to do but I can't stay up all night every time there is thunder or lightning and it is causing fights between H and me.

That is so sad. Have you tried behavior training? I can't imagine having to give up our pet. That would be so hard. Have you mentioned to DH that rehoming might be hard if he has that issue?

Oh wow, that is rough, sorry to hear that! I would say kenneling, but that sounds so sad if he is scared

I have talked to DH about the probability of him finding a new home. I don't want to give him up. He is great with K. She can climb all over him and he doesn't care at all. DH pretty much doesn't want to spend any more money and it's hard for me to argue now that I'm not working.

We have a crate but he freaks out if I close him in and tries to claw his way out. He will go in it when he is scared bit only stays a minute. I feel horrible for him that he is so afraid.

I'm here. Caught up finally. This weekend and early week have been CAH-RAY-ZAY.
Saturday we left the beach and headed home. We got stuck in traffic and went a whopping 8 miles in 3 hours.
Sunday was church, then BIL set up family pictures for MIL's bday surprise. At 1pm. In South Louisiana. In July. Awesome...
Monday I had to be in court 2.5 hours away from home so it was a lovely 7 hour round trip (including court time and lunch). Then I got back to the office and shit had apparently blown up while I was gone. I worked until 6:30pm then went home to cook dinner, unpack some, clean up, prepare lunch, feed the kid, clean up some more, put the kid to sleep, then clean some more.
Yesterday was thankfully just a work from my desk day, but very hectic and jam packed. Last night was another busy night.
Today I've decided to give zero fucks and catch up with my notches. There were some things I wanted to respond to in the last few days of posts, but I didn't as I was reading (rookie mistake) and now I can't remember. I'm a bad notch. I'll sit in the corner and watch you guise each nachos.
sweetsurprise earrings #1 feel they'll go with more things.
Hey ladies! I've slept like shit the past few days. DD has ended up in our bed every night. Last week it was bc of vacation and a dislike of PNP. Now she has a cold so gets so stuffy and I think she's also getting her top tooth. I hope it's not creating a bad habit. When she feels better we shall see.
Re cravings with pregnancy bc I was so sick I never craved anything. But had things I could tolerate strangely enough they were crab cakes and hoagies haha. Have a great Wednesday ladies!

Sorry you're so tired! I don't think co-sleeping is a bad habit, per se, but it is a habit and it's hard to break. We didn't start co-sleeping until 6 months and we do it every night. Not all night, but every night. I think it's like anything else, work slowly back to the desired plan. We could do that, but we like sleep more than the not-sleep of fighting it right now. At some point, we'll be more motivated to change, but it works for us.
I am running out of energy! guise... My MIL brought DD to have lunch with me and she is taking steps!!! I have ALL the videos, I just cant believe this is happening. Its becoming so real

That's so exciting!!!! And a little terrifying. But mostly exciting!!!

Ugh. That sucks. Have you tried thunder blankets? I've heard they can help.

I have like 80 things on my favorites! But here's two screenshots
Also, I ate the pineapple because it would apparently induce labor -- not because I craved it LOL. I wasn't blessed with any pregnancy cravings actually! I just wanted FOOD. Typical.

That's awesome! My kid got brave and tried to take a step today and fell down instantly. She was so upset but totally fine. I'm still crossing my fingers for first steps on the beach.
