I know I'm not drinking nearly as much water as I should be but it makes the nausea worse. All I want is ginger ale. Anybody with me? Does anyone have any tips to make the water not gross?
I'm also struggling to drink enough. I'm not drinking soda either though. Just struggling to drink anything, usually I drink so much water so this is really unusual...
My midwife recommended putting something fizzy in it, like dissolvable vitamins. Haven't tried it yet though. I feel like everything makes the nausea worse. I just want to lay motionless in bed until this passes, is that too much to ask??

Sometimes I add just a little lemonade mix just to give it a little flavor. Or I add lemons slices. I'm terrible about drinking water. I fill my bottle each morning and get to the end of the day without taking a sip.

I'm actually a huge water drinker so this hasn't been too much of an issue for me, however... On the days when the nausea has been the absolute worst, I've subbed club soda for water. The fizzy helps a lot and I'm still getting plenty of H20.

I seriously dislike water, but I also hate it with things added, so I'm dealing. I got an app that keeps me accountable and I am so Type A that I have to get to 100% of my goal each day.

I am usually good about drinking enough, but since I've been so sick and water seems to make it worse, I've struggled. I have noticed that carbonation for some reason seems to help, so for the last few days I've switched back to drinking flavored sparkling (carbonated) water. It's not something I can drink a ton of though, the flavor is a little too strong, but at least I'm getting some water in.

I've not being doing so well drinking water either. I'm trying though. I like La Croix-someone else mentioned earlier. It's carbonated, flavored but no sweetener. The carbonation seems to help some. Also, I bought some organic lemonade and put a couple ounces in a big 24-32 oz glass and fill the rest with water. Ice seems to help too. And a straw. I always drink more when I use a straw. Good luck. I think first trimester is basically just survival. Do whatever you can/have to, you can do better in second/third tri? I'm normally a really healthy eater, but food it's not my friend. Cheese and fruit are keeping me alive right now. Ughhh, 4 more weeks til second tri!
