Black cherry Mike's hard lemonade is what I randomly picked up at the 6 pack shop tonight. So basically I'm drinking alcoholic pop. Reminds me of college.

Those are delicious! But I can definitely only have a few before they get too sweet. Also LOL at six pack shop.

FIL called it the beer store, and we still do sometimes.

I live in Pennsylvania. We have beer stores, 6 pack shops and liquor stores here because our liquor laws are ridiculous. I truly miss living in Florida and buying beer and wine at Target and rum at Walgreen's. The struggle is real!

Wait it's for real called a six pack shop? Like, they only sell six packs?
Oh, and if I want to buy more than 12 bottles/cans etc at the 6 pack shop I have to do two separate transactions and not physically carry more than 12 to the car at a time. Andplusalso no beer before noon on Sundays. This is true even if I'm out of state with a PA DL. It's so stupid. No fireworks either. PA sucks!

Sometimes they sell 12 packs too but yes, it's legit called a six pack shop lol they're usually connected to a bar, gas station or grocery store but not always.

Liquor laws are so weird. We can buy beer less than 4.5% at the grocery store but the rest at the liquor store but mixers even with a higher alcohol content are at the grocery store because they can't sell them at the liquor store. Then Sunday has weird hours and establishments need a special liquor license to serve alcohol.

You can't buy in other states with a PA DL? That's fucking ridiculous!!
ETA - but only if that other state knows the laws? Right? Because if I worked at a liquor store I'd totally sell to whoever at whatever the damn time of day I wanted.

No I can buy in other states, just not before noon on a Sunday. I went to a wedding in WV a couple years ago and tried to buy a bunch of those little single serve wine glasses at the gas station and they wouldn't let me. It was so disappointing!
Liquor stores are closed in Sunday's here. Which totally sucks. I've driven to Wisconsin on many occasions on a Sunday to get booze.
And MN liquor stores close at 10:00 pm. When we first moved there, DH drove to three different ones at 10:05 thinking it was just that those stores closed early. Colorado is like "you want to buy hooch on Sunday? Sure! At midnight? Sure! Want a joint with that? Sure!" It's the Wild West here

We used to drive 2 hours to Nebraska from where we went to college in kansas on Sundays to buy beer if we drank it all on Saturday because you couldn't buy beer on Sundays then. Typically those of us who didn't drive drank all that we bought on the way home- we were in college- poor planning on how much we needed to get through all of Sunday!

Some liquor stores used to close at 8:00. It was blasphemy.
