We are going day by day for now. DS seems to be back on his nap schedule, thank you baby Jesus. Baby girl is doing well, she is nursing like a champ. I left the kids all home last night with my husband for the very first time. He survived and the kids did also. Tonight I'm taking my older girls out. I'm Nervous to be gone that long but the girls and I need it, plus it's our summer tradition.
Im still here! I agree its been so slow around here. We are planning to try for #2 this month..however I just was suppose to have my period and had tons of bloating and cramping and just spotting..im freaking out that i may be preg..i took a test and said neg. I may retest in a few days. Were leaving fora trip/wedding so Id just like to konw. I dont want to drink if I am. So crazy. So I just cant stop thinking about it. Not sure if any of you have experienced this? With my last one I didnt spot etc only once like a month after knowing.
@john511 I have never spotted with any of my pregnancies until this last one. I freaked out! I was like 5ish month and wiped and saw pink. I called the dr hysterical. It was literally that one time. But I had never had that before. We laughed about it after the fact, but at that time I thought all the horrible thoughts. I can't imagine what it is like for ladies who have continuous bleeding during pregnancy.
I'm here. A little late obviously. LO is great but totally exhausting. We are starting to more seriously discuss TTC #2. I'll be 39 later this year so I'm getting a little stressed about it (biological clock and all). But we're not ready to pull the trigger quite yet. Getting closer though...
missk0411, I think being weirdly possessive about things may just be a stage. My LO is totally like that without a new baby to compete with. She's always saying "that's mine/my ___." And it's usually random things, not things that are actually "hers" like her doll or whatever.

I still check sometimes, but am mostly on May 15 and the May 13 FB group. Just saying hi! For those of you who didn't know, Baby Cecilia arrived on May 17. Since then, I'm mostly just trying to survive.
Good luck with #2, mamamd,! I had Z at 40 and 4 months, and though I heard about "advanced maternal age" a lot, things were pretty smooth. And I loved the MDs who told me that AMA was really more like "average maternal age" in our area. Probably an exaggeration, but I appreciated it nonetheless.

I am coming in so late! I've been around Nov 15 more often, but lately i'm barely able to keep up and participate.
Things are good for us though...31w with baby 2 (a girl this time). DS is just freaking hilarious and such a fun kid...we transitioned to his big boy bed in early August and he's done GREAT! I'm so glad it was a smooth transition. Still need to get his old bedroom ready for baby girl. Ugh.
