I feel like I have been a healthy living failure. We ate so much crap lately. But we are starting the Whole30 again either Feb 2 or 3 so this week I am going to work on weaning myself off the junk and soda I will be better about having goals and exercising next week.
I have been doing pretty well with making healthy food choices. I am struggling with a lot of BF related nausea though...see my other thread. This week I am going to try not to so much track my portions but just choose healthy real foods. Also..I joined the YMCA last week and I am going to start working out again. LO did great at their childcare! I have a plan of classes and cardio mapped out for the week. Planning for 5 days of exercise!

I just did a kettlebell video tonight, so there's a start! I haven't worked out since maternity leave. My goal is 3 days a week(Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) during my days off work. I am not going to make a food goal yet because I am trying to recover my milk supply from the doozy of a GI virus that hit me last week.

I really should've weaned myself off the junk before I started too. Quitting pop cold turkey made me feel like I was going through some sort of hellacious detox for 3 days. It was terrible!
The first time we tried it weaned us off junk slowly first and it was such a great idea. It was still a rough couple of days at first, but it probably would have been worse if we went cold turkey.
What were your goals for last week? Three workouts and focus on eating healthier
How did you do? I did ok. Got only two workouts in but that's better than none. Are really well up until Thursday when I had a slow day at work which made me bored hungry.
What are your goals for this week? Three workouts, stick to heathy snacks. I also want to start working strength training back into my routine but just getting in the three cardio work outs have been hard, so I don't know.
Goals last week-drink more water, go to bed earlier, only one nighttime snack.
How did you do: doing better with water, love my new Tervis. I'm getting to bed early. If not sleeping lol
Goals for this week: cut back on junk snacks. I used to eat so well and never had a sweet tooth... Then I got pregnant with my first and it all went down hill.
Goals for last week: Start working out and just make healthy choices.
How did it go: I eat healthy during the week and then Friday shows up. Plus, I didn't work out.
Goals for this week: Get in at least one workout during the week and two on the weekends. We are getting a treadmill Saturday, so I'm very optimistic! I also plan to cut back on the pieces of candy I eat here and there, and replace my nightly beverage with water to work on boosting my supply.
What were your goals for last week? Keep to the whole30, get in at least some sort of cardio, try not to weigh myself.
How did you do? Great with the diet, not so much on the cardio and I weighed myself once. On the bright side, I've lost 11 pounds in 19 days. 19 more pounds to go.
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, exercise, exercise! And of course, keep to the diet. Only 11 more days!
Goals last week: Track all of my food (doing weight watchers)
How did I do: Great, I tracked everything and stuck to my points
Goals for this week: Work out one time. That seems like a small goal, but I still have no idea where I am going to fit it.... but I'm going to try it!
I'm with you on finding time for one workout! Hopefully we are both successful! Also, I'm considering getting back on WW. How are you tracking points?
I use the WW app on my phone to track and it is really easy. I also just started a weight watchers at work series so I go to a lunch meeting once a week and that is really helping me stay on track.
DoesItComeInPink. Tervis Tumbler. DH and DD picked one out fur my birthday. They have been really popular among the other girls I work with so I thought I'd see what all the fuss is about. It's nice to not have a water bottle on my desk but to also have something with a lid, that stays cold!

Thanks! I was wondering if the app was worthwhile!
