D&C recovery- Is this normal??

Hi ladies,
I haven't intro-ed yet, but I've been lurking plenty.  I had a D&C two weeks ago tomorrow (Monday, Jan. 12).  I only bled for the first week after the procedure.  However, yesterday I started bleeding again, after one week without bleeding.  Has anyone else had this happened before?  I thought it was kinda strange...  Thanks for your help!

I don't have any experience with D&C's but I agree with mistabinx to call your Dr if you get concerned. Is it heavy bleeding or just spotting?

I was also told bleeding can come and go, and I think any bleeding within the first 2 weeks (unless you are soaking pads in an hour or less, or you are also in pain) is considered normal.

I'm so sorry you lost your pregnancy; it's such an awful experience.

Im sorry for your loss.

I had what you are describing, a week of no bleeding and then it came back. My doctor said it was my period ( I also had my usual AF signs) and 2 weeks later I ovulated, and a 28 day cycle.
If you are concerned make a quick call to your doctor to ease you mind.

Thanks, everyone! I called my doctor's office today to make sure this was normal- they said it was. So... if this is a period, does it mean I only have to wait one more cycle until trying again???

I had that happen after my D&C in November. It turned out I had remnants in my uterus and had to get a prescription (can't remember the name) to help pass what was left . Did you OB follow your levels down to 0?
