Now that I think this might actually be happening for me. I was curious what everyone is doing to record their pregnancy. Are you taking weekly pictures? I'm considering just doing monthly pictures instead.
I've also heard about pregnancy journals you can buy but I don't know what they entail. I also know that most baby books have a brief pregnancy section.
Is anybody blogging or vlogging?
Tell me what you are doing because I might just copy your ideas!

We are planning on doing the weekly pictures with a sign with stats/milestones on it next to me... That's really about it, though. I've never been good at journaling (just lots of one-to-two pages of "Dear Diary, this time I'm going to tell you EVERYTHING!" and then... nada.)

I blogged my pregnancy last time. I haven't been yet this time because we haven't yet revealed to family and friends. I will probably pick it up again after our reveal. I also took a weekly picture every HDBD. The weekly is fun towards the end because then you have one close to your last pregnant day before you deliver!
I did a blog check-in last time, lemme find the questions...
How far along? How big is baby? Total weight gain/loss: Maternity clothes? Stretch marks? Sleep? Pregnancy dreams? Best moment this week? Miss anything? Movement? Food cravings? Anything making you queasy or sick? Gender? Labor signs: Symptoms: Belly button in or out? Wedding rings on or off? Happy or moody most of the time? Any milestones this week? Looking forward to:

We just do the weekly fruit picture, starting with the lime. I don't post them, as they are for myself and my husband. I'm pretty sure No 1 Currs about the day to day intricacies of my ute, other than maybe my husband.

Is it weird that I want to read your blog from your last pregnancy now? Those are awesome questions.

I WANNA SEEEEEEEE.
We need to start HDBDs soon, guise! Some of us are 13 weeks!
I blogged my first pregnancy, similar to peaches. I also sent out a weekly email to family about how far along I was, how I was feeling, how the babies were developing and appt dates. They loved them and requested emails after the girls were born, which didn't happen. I had no time!
This time around I may just take a pic every month or so...
Poor second pregnancies... I was so energetic the first time around and so exhausted this time

Who the hell is 13 weeks? I'm 12 and I'm the only transfer poster that I knew about.

That's cool that you were able to keep up with this. I would probably do this twice and then stop.

I have a chalkboard that I'm writing weeks, tid bits, and taking a picture by. I am going to do the first picture by it today if everything goes well at my appointment this afternoon. I also bought a pregnancy journal. I love those questions peachesncream

First pregnancy, I took weekly pictures and wrote weekly updates in a simple Word doc. I had every intention of making a Shutterfly album with my pics and updates next to them. Never happened.
This time I've done one update so far at 5 weeks and taken no pictures. I'm seriously slacking.

I LOOOOOOOOOVE HDBDs! Not so much for myself (hate getting my pic taken), but I love seeing the beautiful baby bumps and the progression during the pregnancy. Can't wait!

I looked at journals but I couldn't commit to one. There is this website called canava and it lets you do layouts and stuff online for free. So I made my own pregnancy journal. It's just online now but I think I will get it printed after baby is born and it's done

I've been trying to decide what to do to document, so I love this thread! I'll do weekly pictures, but not until 2nd tri. It'll take me a bit longer to show, as I'm on the fluffy side of life (grrr...that's a whole other story). I don't know how many of them I'll post/make public beyond a HDBD thread, but I'd rather have them and not end up doing anything with them than wish I had them and not have taken them.
I am thinking of doing the weekly pictures. Not for everyone to see, just for myself. I didnt document much with my first. I think I only have a handful of pregnancy pictures with my son.
I'm planning to get it again for this baby but I can't bear to write in it until 12 weeks. I didn't take belly pics until 17 weeks last time because it took me that long to even get a tiny bump.

I blogged my entire first pregnancy and made a book out of all my posts and pictures after my daughter was born. I announced on Monday so I have already started blogging. I do a weekly post with a picture, I talk about what is happening with the baby, how I'm feeling and symptoms, then usually another tidbit like about weight gain or old wivestales about gender or dreams. I start from week 4 because I love to see how my body changes even if it's not much in the beginning but it's fun to look back and see how I felt from the start.

I took a (terrible) selfie to send to my sister the other day. Does that count? I had someone ask when I was due the other day...But I'm not really showing yet. It was a stranger too, that could have been awkward...
I did blog every week. I used blogspot app on my phone and wrote it on the subway. I used a pic from the weekend and did it Monday am. I never forgot and love looking back at it now. My belly is so much bigger though which I hate

You guys all have some ch creative ideas. I want to do all the things! I already have a private blog that I write stuff in but I would love to do a journal or something...we'll see!
I also copied my entry from the ticker change thread from Aug '14 to my blog. Then I copied some stuff from the my baby this week page at the bump. Here's one from week 19:
What week and fruit is baby this week? 19 weeks and a Mango! I've never had a mango...
Symptoms? OMG Braxton-Hiscks contractions you suck! I think I *might* have felt a kick, but might have just been a sharp round ligament pain...
Rants and/or Squees? We finally picked our hospital last night, it seems REALLY nice! No water births allowed (boo) but primary c/s are only 17%! I'm excited.
What's your OMG gotta-have-it food right now? Still all about the oranges.
From thebump.com: "At 19 weeks, you’re probably getting psyched for your mid-pregnancy ultrasound. Most parents-to-be think of this test as the chance they get to find out baby’s sex. But you actually will see a lot more than baby’s boy or girl parts. The ultrasound technician will scan pretty much scan all of baby’s body to make sure everything’s developing properly. Don’t leave the place without getting some printouts from the scan to take home with you and show off. Of course, going in for your test isn’t the only thing you should be planning ahead for around week 19, you should also probably start the search for a pediatrician. Start by asking some family and friends for recommendations and then make a few appointments to meet with the docs. So what do you think it is -- a boy or a girl?"
What's the baby up to?
Developing a protective coating over her skin, called vernix caseosa. It's greasy and white and you may see some of it at her birth.
Working on her five senses. Nerve cells for her sense of taste, hearing, sight and smell are developing in her brain.

I kept a journal with similar questions to peaches and random thoughts. I'm currently loving comparing the two pregnancies, though I've been a slacker and have only written in the current twice We did pics at 8, 12, and then from 18 weeks onward, though they were just using the same shirt (no chalkboard or anything fancy like that). I've taken one pic and will probably follow the same pattern as last time if I can keep up with it
