This picture is blurry... but T's got this dry skin spot that now is looking redish... I put aquaphor on it, and have been doing that semi regularly... is it more than dry skin? There's a few spots on his back as well...
djtippietoes Being recruited is pretty sweet and so awesome that you were able to ask about salary upfront as a result.
@elf828 Hoping we hear about the job early today! bookshelves YH sounds like a great guy. shellbell I will never ever tire of you bringing up basic humanity.
bluedot DS had that develop when he was little. It ended up getting kinda crusty. The pedi gave us hydrocortisone cream and it cleared it up pretty quickly. Although he still has horribly dry skin/eczema.

Friday I was so worried about my DH, and we had a good weekend together, and then last night happened & I'm ready to TP him again.
Since he shirked bedtime duties (with a pinkyswear he'd do it tonight), I tapped him in when A was crying at 3am. He was a complete and total asshole. At least he got up, but now I remember why I do 99% of MOTNs alone, it's easier and less stressful. I have hardly spoken to him today. He's texted me a few times & I've been very brief. I don't need sunshine and puppies at 3am, but I don't need a raging jackass at 3am either. I told him last night he needs to do bedtime 3 nights a week. He looked at me like an alien had crawled out of my nose. I'm so irritated with him right today.
In other news, I'm beginning to wonder if I have IBS. I've been off and on with the nasties for over a week now. But this has been a recurring issue over the last year. My guts used to be made of steel. Now they're made of like, tissue paper or something. It's redonk.
iwubrory @elf828 thanks I'll get some cream. It doesn't seem to bother him at all...
I hope OTC clears it up but just so you know, ours was a stronger prescription, so don't freak if the OTC doesn't work.
You'd think I was trying to get my posts over 100 with all of these posts so close together. Sorry people!
Thanks! I'll try it... if it doesn't work I'll talk to the pedi at our 1 year appt... since its not bothering him and doesn't seem to be spreading it doesn't seem like an emergency, right?
katybriggs - I'm sorry your DH is being a jerk. TP to him. As for the IBS, mine came back with a vengeance PP even though it hadn't bothered me for several years before or during pregnancy. Might be worth getting looked at, although there isn't much they can do unfortunately.
Re: snow Is it bad that I'm considering letting my 7 year old go out to shovel the driveway? Its not forced labor when he offers, right? I know he won't get much accomplished and I will have to go out and finish anyway. We have a snow thrower but I am intimidated by it.
I say let him. I let DD shovel the driveway all the time and she's 4. She loves it. We even got her her own snow shovel for Christmas.
iwubrory My sig on the old site said "Married a keeper, 2007" -- that's really the best way to describe him. Not perfect, but he really tries to be a good person, and that's the best any of us can do!
Yeah, I married a keeper too. He's a way better person than I am in basically every way. Luckily, that makes me work to be a better person so he doesn't drop my sorry behind.
bluedot Definitely not an emergency. I waited a while to contact the pedi to see if I could clear it up on my own which is why it probably got crusty. It didn't bug him at all but was ugly looking.
For those that requested an account delete at the old site, did you receive any contact from the admins or confirmation that it was done? I don't want to login because I heard it restarts the deletion process but I'm not sure how to check it's being done.
@noethela that wrap is gorgeous. I need to give back carries another try. @elf828 and @djtippytoes good luck with your prospective job offers. laur my kids would be devastated to miss out on Star Week (they did it in K and 1st) I hope she gets a full turn next week or at least can make it extra special on the days she'll have.
I stayed up way too late, and not really for any good reason, so I only have myself to blame. Stupid Mevaroo.
People getting snow...stay safe! I would love to be hit with a storm like that, but only if A) Neither my H or I had to work, B) we were completely stocked with supplies, C) the power stays on, and D) it was quick storm that gets cleaned up quickly.

I don't think I got anything, but I don't check the email that it was connected to very often. I went to a thread I knew I commented on and saw that my posts weren't there. I was also tagged in one the posts on that thread and it took me to a user not found page. I just checked the Serial thread....it's like 3 pages in, because I know for sure that I commented a bunch on that one. I think you did too, so maybe check there?

PSA: MPix.com is having a 50% off sale on large prints! I've been procrastinating some I want for LO's room so I'll definitely take advantage of that. They're really amazing quality, and ship super fast.

I just checked and I appear to be gone. Thanks ladies!

It's DS's job to clear the front steps, so I'd let him clear the driveway by choice (he is under supervision and I don't let him do a lot of heavy snow). He likes it and it tires him out.
Good morning. I haven't had a chance to read randoms yet, but I wanted to pop in and say hi.
Also, I think my SO is finally getting on board about me being pg. This weekend we were sitting in the living and he said, "What do you think about the name ______?" Made me excited to think he's starting to get a little excited about it all.
Good morning everyone. The app already ate my post once so this will probably be shorter than everything I originally typed out. We have a snow day here and the kids are home so probing will probably be limited today. I hope everyone has a good day.
ivedonethisb4, I offer commiseration on the endless doctor appointments. DD1 and I both have endocrine issues so are both monitored regularly. Throw two more (albeit healthy) kids into the mix and I feel like we're always at the doctor.
laur, I hope your daughter gets to be the star another week. DD1 was sick for her 100th day of kindergarten (which was a huge deal) and it was like her world was ending. She still talks about it two years later.
katybriggs, TP to YH. I would be pissed too if I were you.

So happier update, my friend with the baby with sleep problems switched to the Halo sleep sack- baby can't bust out and is sleeping better! Bad news, she mentioned it on Facebook, and has someone telling her that swaddling babies is ridiculous and cuddling too much spoils them. Sigh.
