Our snowman from the weekend storm is half buried in a drift. The kid reports he will be out of school for eleven days. What does he know that the rest of us don't?
We're getting nothing in DC. Maybe a couple inches. I'll be lucky to get a delayed start at this rate. Thanks for nothing, winter.
DC here as well. See what will happen to me is that daycare will have a delayed start and work won't so I'll have to take damn vacation time. Grrrr....
As suspected- 2 hour of vacation time down the drain.

I just woke up. Looks like we have about 1ft that fell overnight. They said to expect blizzard conditions when we woke up in the morning. It's nothing like a blizzard outside, light snow and good visibility right now. I'm disappointed, I wanted to see a blizzard! Supposedly we're getting another foot of snow today. Will post some pics when I get outside.

My family keeps updating me and my brother (who is in DC) with photos. My sister just recently sent this one with the comment: "This red car isn't doing so well. Might disappear soon!"

Yikes, where is that? I have a feeling our car is going to look like this after the plow comes by. We might just leave it until the snow melts!
I wish we could have some snowdays here. We've been close to 60 all week and it's been a very warm winter. I think I could count the number of days with frost on one hand.
I'm a little north of Boston. It's hard to tell how much we got because of the drifting but I have heard between 30 and 33 inches. Ahh! I am a teacher and have a third snow day tomorrow. It's great right now, but I will be sad when I am making the days up in June!
