Ha! It now says so and so "have sometype of feels".
I noticed in the newest post about moderation that they will be periodically changing what it says, basically since nothing will please everybody all the time. Makes sense.
I can't keep up! Amelia had a good day. She said "don't touch that" at daycare, referring to the outlet near the diaper changing station (that's covered of course) and she repeated it for me at home. It's amazing how much her vocabulary has taken off since she didn't say much for a while.
Tomorrow I have to lead graduation plan meetings with 8th grade parents. By the time were done and I get everything back in my office and organized it's 11-11:30. Great because it makes the day go by fast but it means I can't check in here! These go on almost every day until February 13.
I'm having a day. So first there was the whole doctor appointment debacle. So I got home around noon and H was already here because he decides to work from home. Nbd- we both went in our corners and got work done until we picked up the kids. So I get back from getting B&N and my lovely H apparently turned in to a completely unhelpful slacker. Since 5:00, I have nursed N three times, fixed B's train track, made dinner, cleaned up from dinner, got both kids in jammies, got B to bed and now I am nursing N to sleep. What has my H done? Nothing. There are still pump parts to wash, toys to pick up, lunch to pack and a diaper bag to pack- if none of those tasks are done by the time I get downstairs, heads will roll. I'm in no mood today.
One of my coworkers just had a baby less than two weeks ago. She walked into the office looking fabulous. I hate her.
At coworker:
Two weeks ago!? Not only is she back at work, but she also looks great? no.
She only stopped by to pick up a check owed to her but she had full makeup on and her hair was blown out. She looked better than she did before she left!

I finally dragged myself out running for the first time since Thanksgiving. Being ill from Thanksgiving-New Year really put a damper on things. I am so happy to have gotten out again, and it wasn't nearly as terrible as I thought it might be.
However, my toes were icicles! My hands warmed up about a mile in, but my pinky toes didn't thaw until I got back inside. Running shoes are a little too breathable. I guess I should wear wool socks next time? What do you ladies in colder climes do to keep your toes warm?
The AW post I warned you about... this is what my dad and stepmom made me for Christmas! They found a bunch of wine corks that my great uncle had been saving for me when they cleaned his place after he passed. And this is what they did with them! I love it!!

Uggs.
Seriously, probably smartwool.... and maybe those foot warmer packets.
Ooooh - I have a ton of hand warmer packets ... I'll try shoving those in the toe of my shoes next time I go out!
