I had a little scare over the weekend with some bleeding and back pain, and since it was a weekend had to go through the ER (eye roll.) Turns out it was just a small subchorionic hemorrhage, thank God, but the back pain is a mother f'er. Other than that I'm really tired, was winded a lot of the day yesterday...and of course super bloated and getting comments about my "pooch" at work. Fun.
Lightning crotch. I swear - I had lightning crotch last night. As confirmed by my Mayo Clinic Guide, that's a third trimester symptom. What the hell is going on down there?
MS is better, exhaustion is still there. The weird one that's getting me is my eyes. They feel strange, like there's sinus pressure, localized entirely within my eyeballs. I know that some pregnant women experience issues with contact lenses (which I haven't worn for years) due to general swelling, but I didn't expect to actually feel it enough to be irritated by it.
Maybe I'm just tired and crabby. That's entirely possible.
Is it seriously possible for my sciatica to start acting up this early??? Holy shit, I was barely able to lift my left leg last night to get into/out of bed, and am still having trouble this morning... Had it with DD, but I don't remember it being this early!
Yes - I had it in the first tri with the my DD and I have it this go around, it sucks. I feel your pain.
I feel almost normal outside of the back pain, light headiness when standing up, and being tired so early at night. And I can't ever figure out what I want to eat because I want to eat it all.

I , too, have had the God awful lightning crotch. I am so confused.
Yesterday I felt like a person. It was amazing!!!!!!!!!
Now I feel like shit again. I can hardly eat. The only thing that taste good/helps is soft peppermint candies.
I really want some Mexican style food. MH went out and go stuff to make pork carnitas tonight. I know this is not important information but I am so excited that I had to share
Here's a new one for me: I've become allergic to either my laundry detergent or fabric softener. When I wear a pair of regular wash underwear I get crazy crotch itch. I washed all my underwear with only water and vinegar and dried without softener, and so far no issues. Weird.

Cramps. They were pretty painful in the middle of the night. Dull but constant this today. I haven't had any spotting since last week. I called the doctor and they want me to monitor it for two hours then call back. Then they will decide what to do.
My gas is the worst is been yet! I can feel it trapped in all kinds of pockets and can't let it go. I'm dying here at work! Also, I'm finally experiencing that peeing all the time thing, and it's really inconvenient.
Still nauseous and tired. My pregnancy runny nose has started, though it isn't as bad as last time. (I could barely sleep without meds with DD due to congestion...for 8 months.) I finally went to get new bras this weekend, and all of the C's either exactly fit or were too small. Apparently I skipped C because I'm in a D today...no wonder my B bras hurt so much.

it is MISERABLE. I had it bad 1st pregnancy, just not this early, and now it's back with a serious vengeance this time around... MH doesn't quite understand how much it hurts, and keeps saying 'oh just stand up straight, bend over, stretch', bla bla. I get it - I know it might help, but when I can't even move my left leg to go pee, stretching my hands over my head is NOT my #1 priority. I'll be partaking in some serious heating pad action tonight/tomorrow while I'm home (Yeah snow day!)
Sciatica is the worst. I had it for about a year with a disc injury, and it's horrible.
Rest is good, so you enjoy the hell out of that heating pad. And when you're feeling up to it, try to move as much as you can. I swam and walked a lot. Anything that strengthens your core muscles to support your stomach, which is what's pulling on your back and making everything terrible.

This is me. I posted about it in the bitchfest thread, but I am having spotting and backpain that is giving me anxiety even though I am telling myself it is probably nothing. Aside from that I am hungry, but not hungry and really irritated at everyone and everything.
The RLP has started which means I'm growing. Probably won't see anything for awhile but I can't stop turning quickly, standing up quickly and then BAM it hits and I'm almost doubled over with the pain. Add a 24lb toddler in my arms to the mix and it's just getting scary sometimes.
Also do any other moms who had a csection feel more pain along the scar? I'm trying to figure out if this is just where the cramping pain tends to be or if it is scar related. My csection was only 13 months ago.
I was having bad pain in the lower right quadrant of my abdomen two days ago. Thought "my appendix is bursting"... luckily I was able to talk myself off the ledge. No more pain and my appendix is still there.

That is very important information.
Also, I'm sorry for your pubic bone, but I'm glad I'm not alone.
Round ligament pain already ? I swear this is a second trimester symptom . I can't stand up or switch positions without shooting pain in my hips or groin. I've been battling a cough for about a week now and my bladder given up. Coughing til I puke and peeing my pants . Who said pregnancy wasn't sexy?

Vertigo. Motherfucker. It's something I've had before (mainly at higher altitudes), and my mom deals with it, but this is freaking awful. And it came on all of a great sudden. I know it can be normal, but I feel like I can't stand up without feeling like I'm going to fall down. And my head is all woozy.
manda1214 I haven't had a C-section, but I had laparoscopic surgery back in August and I notice that sometimes the tiny little scars where they went in on my lower abdomen start hurting. I'm assuming it's skin stretching. I've also had some wicked RLP.

Have you been diagnosed with a SCH? If you haven't, and haven't had any previous spotting, I'd give your doctor a call just to let them know. I think they mainly wanted to get my blood type but I was really relieved with the ultrasound to make sure everything looked good.

I am a little jealous of you and your normal-sized tatas. I was a D before I got pg the first time, went up to DDD, had a miscarriage and they only went down to DD. Now with this pregnancy, I am up to a G! You can't find that at most stores and you have to spend a pretty penny on them. I have purchased one and I am ordering one more and those are hopefully going to get me through this time. I hope...

Ugh. I can't even imagine. I used to hate my small boobs, but they are just fine. I will be glad to have them back...in 2 years.

I had appendicitis (worse than natural childbirth), and my pain was upper right abdomen about at my rib line. Not sure if the appendix can be high or low for different people...but something to keep in mind.

I emailed my doctor this morning and am waiting to hear back. I have not been diagnosed with anything and have had no bleeding up to now. I would just like to hear a heartbeat to make sure. My first miscarriage started with light spotting, so I can't help but worry.

Oh that sounds horrible. Childbirth was bad enough! I'm guessing you were having referred pain, which is why you felt it in your upper abdomen. I'm glad for my sake I was just being dramatic...

It was pretty bad. I thought it was just digestive problems...I have some bad digestive attacks where it hurts to move. So I tried to ignore it. By the time the doctors saw me in the ER, I was throwing up from the pain. At least with childbirth, the contractions come in waves...this was like the peak of transition contractions all. the. time. Morphine is wonderful. My pain was very precisely located, and it actually felt better to press on the area for a while...so weird. And apparently they can grow back!! I really don't want to do that again...even if morphine is wonderful.

Yes! It is the WORST. For me it's gotten earlier and more severe with each pregnancy. I've literally been hobbling around my house for days. Awful! I totally feel your pain.
As for other symptoms, nausea still so disgusting and brutal, heartburn is starting -yay!-, and TMI: my boobs are leaking like crazy already?! WTH? Stupid boobs.
I went to the doctor today for a possible UTI. There is blood in my urine but they won't put me on meds until they get the lab results in 48 hours to see how severe it is. I hate cranberry juice (without vokda) and they told me to chug it until the results come back. Gross.

I'm sure you are fine, but they may want to do a scan just in case. T's and P's for you regardless, I know it's very anxiety provoking.
