My lower back is killing me, my tailbone area. I feel fine all day at work but after relaxing on the couch or laying in bed I get up and can't stand up straight. I feel like an old lady. I'm also super itchy. My legs, my arms, my back, my boobs. I can't stop clawing at myself. I have tiny little scabs all over my back and legs from scratching which is gross. What gives?
My whole pelvis area just hurts all the time. There are cramps, wierd shooting pains, achy-ness, and lightening pain. It's uncomfortable. The nausea is still kickin. Also, allday yesterday it was uncomfortable to pee. Not in a UTI type of way. More like, when you hold your pee for a really long time and then go, your bladder feels sore.
The RLP has started which means I'm growing. Probably won't see anything for awhile but I can't stop turning quickly, standing up quickly and then BAM it hits and I'm almost doubled over with the pain. Add a 24lb toddler in my arms to the mix and it's just getting scary sometimes.
Also do any other moms who had a csection feel more pain along the scar? I'm trying to figure out if this is just where the cramping pain tends to be or if it is scar related. My csection was only 13 months ago.
This could be a few things, and you may want to ask your doctor at your next visit, but I can tell you a bit about what it could be based on what I was told about my scar (not a c-section scar, but one from another surgery) during my last pregnancy.
With abdominal scaring, people often get abdominal adhesions, where some internal scar tissue attaches to your organs, so as things move and stretch, it can sort of pull and hurt a bit. I'm not entirely sure how common this is for a c-section, but it is more common for gynecological procedures and ones lower in the pelvis. I think the pain for this feels kind of like an internal pulling.
I didn't get the adhesions, but I did find that when I was pregnant with my daughter, the scar really needed to stretch around my belly and it hurt as I bloated and then popped out. In my case, the pain was along and next to the scar itself rather than internal to my abdomen.

Thank you, I'll ask at my next appointment It didn't hurt today so it may just be on and off with the scar stretching. It seems to be very specific to the one end of my scar that was the slowest to heal so i wouldn't be surprised if there was something going on.
I went to the doctor today for a possible UTI. There is blood in my urine but they won't put me on meds until they get the lab results in 48 hours to see how severe it is. I hate cranberry juice (without vokda) and they told me to chug it until the results come back. Gross.
48 hours for a urinalysis?! Hopefully they are doing a culture or something? Good luck to you with your cranberry juice.
I am also having the fun back pain, mostly around my tail bone. The nausea is getting less frequent, but is surprisingly severe when it does happen. I've had a couple days where I feel like a human, but have tried to do too much during that time and seriously regret it the next day. 72 hour work weeks continue to kill me. My sex drive is back but I'm on pelvic rest due to bleeding so that's no fun.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm not experiencing any stretching this time around (and I have a ridiculous blump) because it stretched out last time. So, hopefully even it's a bit of discomfort right now, it's temporary.

I actually left my house yesterday! I still have some nausea, but I'm hoping that I start having more good days. I might even have a date with my husband tonight if I can keep lunch down!

So im not the only one that seems its a bit long to wait The juice went better than expected haha. Hope your back feels better! I had the tail bone issue and its actually how I found out I was pregnant....felt like I broke my tail bone all over again! It was the worst.
The back pain is really kicking in for me. I thought it was because I'm typically a back sleeper and have been forcing myself to sleep on my side. I have been using a pillow between my knees, but I just wake up sore and am sore all day.
Never had MS, but random bouts of nausea, and experiencing one right now...yay. Sucking on a ginger lozenge hoping I feel better soon.
I've been wearing Sea Bands non-stop since I found out I was pregnant, I figured it was more of a mental thing. But yesterday, I had them off in the morning because I had washed them and they hadn't quite dried and I was so dizzy I couldn't stand up. I almost fainted. I have no idea if those two things are connected, but seemed like an odd coincidence.
Soooooo tired. And I just want to poop ?. Also, my B boobs are still B boobs. Bigger boobs was the one symptom I wanted!
TMI ALERT: I know you think you want to poop, but take it from me it's not as great as you're thinking. Finally going was terrible! Stomach cramps, gas pain, ugh it was a rough night.
Still nauseous and tired. My pregnancy runny nose has started, though it isn't as bad as last time. (I could barely sleep without meds with DD due to congestion...for 8 months.) I finally went to get new bras this weekend, and all of the C's either exactly fit or were too small. Apparently I skipped C because I'm in a D today...no wonder my B bras hurt so much.
I am a little jealous of you and your normal-sized tatas. I was a D before I got pg the first time, went up to DDD, had a miscarriage and they only went down to DD. Now with this pregnancy, I am up to a G! You can't find that at most stores and you have to spend a pretty penny on them. I have purchased one and I am ordering one more and those are hopefully going to get me through this time. I hope...
If I may ask where did you get your bras? I started my pregnancy as a G and now they're cutting into me. I couldn't find any good ones at lane bryant.

I don't know how it works in pregnancy but if you make fresh parsley tea (parsley steeped in hot water) that can lessen the pain and make it bearable. My doctor recommended that to me before pregnancy.
This week has been rough. Everything makes me nauseous including water. And my breasts have started to have shooting pains (even if I have a bra on). Other than that it's the usual congestion and fatigue. So ready for this fabled promise land of 2nd trimester.

the low back pain is crippling today. sneezing is so painful. i have to bend and squat down weirdly to move, don't think anyone at work has noticed how strange i'm being. WHY OH WHY CAN'T I HAVE SOME EXTRA STRENGTH ALEVE?
My nose FINALLY stopped pouring like a faucet . I guess this cold has been distracting me from MS which has been nice . Now that I'm starting to feel better the nausea is coming back .

First official bout of MS this morning. Threw up my synthroid and some hot tea. Any advice on how to cover up the dozens of burst blood vessels currently residing on my eye area? It looks like someone took a red marker and dotted around my eyes. I'm also about as pale as a person can get, so it's very challenging to cover up anything. I could try white out, I guess. ..lol

Everything just came back with a vengeance. Total morning sickness at night with awful dizziness and exhaustion. I just feel like a giant bundle of garbage.
I have been feeling like my uterus is bruised. Like a tennis ball was shoved into the top end of it, and is just making everything a deep purple bruise on the inside. It is quite a weird sensation.

Ditto this. I just threw up McDonalds in the car into a Best Buy bag. I NEVER eat McDonalds but was craving a Big Mac, fries and a vanilla shake. Such a bad idea. Zofran and Powerade and bed

Oh man, I am so looking forward to the take-out we're getting tonight and so nervous that I won't be able to eat any of it. I am ordering a full order of my favourite for my daughter though because if I can eat more extra, I sure as hell am going to. I'll do anything to stop my infinite loop of nausea + unable to sleep = migraine = more nausea + more missed sleep = more migraines.
