Mine are killing me and I finally ended up going out last night and purchasing two new maternity bras for my new super huge boobs. (They've always been huge, D Cup, but now they are super huge, DDD.)
They are so sore! I noticed a few weeks ago they felt heavier, but DH didn't notice. But now yesterday he said they feel "denser." He's going crazy not being allowed to touch them, especially because they are for sure firmer and bigger right now!
Mine feel heavier and fuller, and at already an E cup this is not fun. They're not as painful as the first time around, but they feel bruised and sensitive. DS climbs into bed and tends to roll on top of my nipples when he wants a cuddle. Ouch!

I can't remember if there is a reprieve from this boob drama before breastfeeding....Anybody?
I still had monster boobs, but they got less painful towards the end of my first pregnancy. Or I got used to it, but they bothered me less.
Also, I nursed for awhile, and the engorgement, etc, just got better and better over time. By the time I weaned, I had hardly any noticable breast changes. They actually firmed up and filled out just a smidge, but they felt/looked pretty normal towards the end.
I have, however, been almost as many bra sizes as pants sizes over the past 5 years...
Mine seem to start out a bit sore in the morning, and by bedtime, they are full and painful. They are a little bigger, but not terribly bigger, unfortunately.
wittyandwaiting, I think the pain eases up a little after 1st tri, but I can't remember exactly.
What I'm really looking forward to is when the areolas get super dark. Freaks H out!
Just now they aren't too sore, but they definitely feel denser and heavier. Luckily, they haven't grown yet, since I'm an F cup anyway, but I get the feeling I'm going to have to buy a couple bigger soon.
