Ditto those who said Parks and Rec and Mad Men. Obviously two different shows to suit the mood you're in.
I didn't start watching Parks and Rec until this year and am in denial that Pawnee and all the characters don't really exist.
There are also some good comedy specials if you're in the mood, Louie C.K., Aziz Ansari (I only found him funny after watching Parks and Rec), Mike Birbiglia and Jim Gaffigan.

Breaking Bad was awesome and extremely addictive if you haven't seen it yet. In addition to what others have suggested I would also recommend Weeds and The Following.
MissMusic, I started Broadchurch a couple days ago and it is so good! I think I'm on episode 5... I was crying with the Jack stuff. Have you watched Top of the Lake? It's similar.
