I only bought one maternity shirt for the holidays. I lived in yoga pants, skirts, maxi dresses and larger sized shirts. I worked from home and went to school so I went for comfy since I didn't have much to dress up for.
I didn't buy too much last time. I was able to get by just wearing a size up from my regular clothing, which was much cheaper and quite comfortable. I did get a few things from Motherhood Maternity and some stuff from Target, too. I really don't mind target maternity clothes at all and they often have coupons or cartwheel coupons.

I'm hoping I'll get to reuse my stuff from last time. LO was born in June, so the seasons are at least somewhat similar. I definitely need maternity clothes last time and I'm guessing I will again!
One nice thing about winter is that I can wear all my normal sweaters/cardigans that are open in front and just have a few maternity undershirts and pants. That's my wardrobe plan this winter!
Last time I bought 1 pair of maternity jeans and t-shirts 1 size up from my normal and made it through the pregnancy just fine. I plan on buying a few pairs of jeans the next time they go on sale at Old Navy and maybe a few long sleeve shirts if I can get them cheap enough. Otherwise I'll just order 1 size up in their normal shirts which usually fit a little larger for me anyways, I'm really cheap + not working so I'm not going to spend a lot on clothes I'll never use again.
I loved my skinny Old Navy jeans and started wearing them at 16 weeks.
Maternity clothes for work SUCK. I make do with some combination of boots / leggings / sized up t-shirts / MH's sweaters for outside of work in the fall / winter, but for work I actually have to look presentable.
I'm sure will end up rocking the same 4-5 outfits (a mix of maternity dresses / pants / blouses), and I will be fine with it. I have lent out most of it to pregnant friends and will have to start calling back (but not too soon, because we're not public yet). I HATE spending money on maternity clothes.
I have mostly summer stuff from last time so I will need more winter stuff. I wish I didn't have to work because it would be so much easier. I lived in maternity leggings and my husbands t-shirts at home last time. Unfortunately bella bands don't really work for me. I will try to use them again but last time they had a tendency to roll and shift. They ended up being much more trouble than they were worth and I switched to maternity pants pretty quickly.
I buy most of my maternity clothes at consignment shops and goodwill. We have a "wee sale" consignment sale around here twice a year and they have a maternity section. I got a ton of stuff from there last time. I just can't see spending so much money on clothes that I am going to wear for such a short period of time.
After my m/c I thought I would get KU really quickly again (haha not so much), and I came across a sale on OldNavy.com for maternity, so I bought a bunch of different shirts from there a long time ago. A couple weeks ago I finally took them out of the packaging an took off the tags to try them on. Super cute! Can't wait to rock a bump in them!
ETA- and by "sale" I mean I paid $4-5 per tank/tee/long sleeve shirt. Awesome in my book!

My first was a July baby so I had a lot of summer maternity clothes which was mostly dresses and leggings and tanks. I will probably buy a few items to get me through the winter this time around. I was happy with Old Navy, Target, and Kohls for most of my maternity clothes. Like PiradicalMaid said, I plan on buying some maternity tees and just wearing open sweaters over top. I am a SAHM this time around so I don't have to worry about work clothes. That was the hardest thing, finding clothes to wear to work.

I had a lot of maternity clothes, but most were working clothes. Since I'm home now I need some new stuff. I looking forward to leggings and tunics in the fall/winter. I like ON, Gap and Target. Motherhood here and there. My birthday is next month and I'm asking for some stapes to fill out my stash.
DS: Born 8/2/12 at 31 Weeks due to unexplained PTL -------------- ISO a new baby to wear since 10/13 - DX: MFI IVF w/ ICSI - July '15: 13R, 13F, 1T - 6 Frosties - BFP - It split, It's Twins!
I really liked old navy stuff, gap and target. My last was a summer birth so I lived in dresses. This year I'm investing in tunics and leggings. I've got some stuff of a local bst. So remember to check that too.

I kept the clothes I wore with DS. Most of them are Goodwill finds. I was in a cooler neighborhood last time and wore a lot of sweaters, so I may have to get a couple of short sleeved shirts this time. I enjoy going to thrift stores because it's a challenge to find nice clothes. I'm kind of a nut about thrifting. My favorite mat brand would have to be Gap.

I am all about comfort and don't mind spending some money on maternity clothes. I have never been able to use the belly band without being a jumbled up mess. I have kind of a weird pregnant body and I needed demi band pants until about 25 weeks and then full panel. I had several pairs of each. This time I should be set for work clothes but I will need winter casual clothes.
Old navy has 25% off $75+ right now with code ENJOY! I maaaay have just ordered a couple things. Hopefully I don't jinx myself... But they had some cute stuff so I couldn't resist!
I got most of my clothes from Old Navy and Ross. I don't find maternity pants very comfortable so toward the end, I will mostly wear yoga pants, maxi skirts, and dresses to work.

I won't have to get much new stuff because I needed mat clothes from Sept-Jan last time and probably will need them Nov-Apr this time. So pretty much the same-ish weather. (Because...New York. Not the city.)
But if I do get new stuff, it will probably be from Motherhood again. I really like my mat sweaters. I loved my jeans from Old Navy, though. I got them in two sizes.
I teach dance, so a lot of those clothes stretch with me.
*Snip* I don't know how people make non-maternity pants work. Even my non-maternity leggings were too uncomfortable to wear after 16-ish weeks. I probably could have made more of my non-maternity shirts work through my pregnancy with a long undershirt, but I didn't want them to get stretched out.
ETA: I know I need to update my maternity clothes. I have a similar EDD as with DD, but we live in a different climate and most of my clothes were office-wear, and I don't work in an office anymore. I can't really bring myself to think about it yet, though.
This-100%. I wore a lot of motherhood and Gap and the latter definitely held up better. I'm not looking forward to buying winter maternity wear but there's nothing worse than feeling fat and frumpy so I'm going to buy a few nice winter pieces that make me feel like a bombshell and wear the hell out of them.

Also- the Bella band was a nightmare for me. I'm going to give them another go (if I can find them when our household goods arrive) but they rolled up and down and twisted all over on me last time so I don't have high hopes. Full panel belly for lyfe.

I had the same problem with the Bella bands, but I did end up using them as a bra toward the end when I had to go in to work and couldn't face the idea of 9 hours straight in a real bra. It was heavenly. My boobs didn't come in at all with DD, though, until a few days after she was born, so I was still an A cup at 41 weeks. Probably wouldn't work for someone with an actual rack.
That's a brilliant suggestion. As a fellow A-cupper (until my milk comes in) I would have gotten a lot more use out of them this way. I threw out the only bigger strapless bra I had because it wouldn't stay up. Will definitely try that this go around.
Since this is baby #3, I won't need too much. If I get anything I'll shop Motherhood online. There sales can be awesome if you catch the buy one, get one free.
Eta: I hated old navy maternity jeans with a passion. The band was sub par, and they just didn't fit right on my hips... and this was 1st tri.
It's interesting how different people are about these things. I loved my ON mat jeans.
Bottom line, to anyone reading this for ideas. Don't blindly trust anyone's opinion, try them out for yourself. Pregnancy bodies are so vastly different, what works for one person might not work for another.
Oh, I thought of another place that I plan to get a few things -- asos online.
There is a pair with the side band on Old Navy right now $19 + 15% off entire order including clearance items. They do free returns too so it's easy to try them out pretty cheap.

Amen! I accumulated approx 28 pairs of maternity pants last time. Gifted, second hand, given to me. I had a variety of sizes, brands, and waists. I was glad I did because I liked them at varying points.
Any S+TMs here who are short (under 5'2")? Where did you find maternity pants that you didn't have to hem? I'm 4'11" and already have difficulty finding pants.

Not to call anyone out or anything (ha!) but wilburbud and steveo are kind of on the short petite side... any suggestions, ladies?

I would call myself "petite" thank you very much peanutmuse...
jags8, Old Navy and Gap maternity have ankle length which works for me -- I wear a lot of plain black pants to the office. I also want to say that Pea in the Pod carries a petite line -- per my earlier post, I hate spending money on maternity clothes, so I don't generally buy from there, but I think I saw it last time around.
