I wonder if this works for Osh Kosh too since they're a Carter's brand...
@demanda88 - why only white? Have you already devoted your child to a monastary/nunnery? We did a ton of Carter's first time around because the have such great, bright colors:

Huh? Because we find out the sex in a week and most unisex clothing is white.
Nope. That's my point. Unisex colors aren't white. We were team green the last time around and our closet was filled before he was born - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black, grey. The only white clothing he had was a 3 pack of kimono shirts. Unless you're saying you'd never put your daughter in any color but pink? And I don't know what that means you'd dress your son in...
Because I am a Carter's and Oshkosh snob / shopaholic, I will suggest you wait until the next 50% off everything sale, which will fall on the next major holiday, perhaps president's day, as Carter's and Oshkosh have 50% off sales the week of all major holidays. If you drop in the store to buy something else before then or if you get their emails/ mail ads, you should easily be able to get another 20% or 25% off coupon to use on top of that (sometimes they are even 30%). Free shipping is usually effective for at least the first couple days of the sale. Since they tend to carry things multiple season's or holidays in advance, at least online they have summer stuff now, I usually wait until the next 50% off sale and buy things a season ahead.

Thanks for the tip! I couldn't help myself, so I just got a few things. If there were another big sale in a few weeks and I had to shop again, it wouldn't be the end of the world, right?

I'm with you billyhorrible--these seem completely unisex to me. Then again, I think the idea of buying specific clothes based on sex for a baby is kind of ridiculous.
Not sure if everyone has Macy's where they live, but Macy's carries Carter's as well. Macy's does big sales for any and every holiday as well. We got a snowsuit for the baby that was $72 marked down to $12!
I also buy a ton of carters stuff through kohls. It's cheaper there to start with, and they have 30% off sales at least once a month, plus kohls cash. I love carters baby clothes...they are my favorite things for baby!!

Can anyone recommend good baby stores in the US? I feel like in Canada we're stuck with Baby Gap and Babies R Us. If the exchange gets better I might plan a shopping trip. Thanks!
Carters....
I have found cute stuff at baby gap, kohls, Macy's, target, jcpenney, and old navy, too. Not sure what you're looking for?
I was searching and I found Land of Nod this morning. They have this ice cream theme bedding set which fits our nursery. Only problem is that they don't ship to Canada And if they do it will cost a fortune.
@littlebee hey you changed your pic!
I don't remember where I saw it (maybe pinterest?) and there was the CUTEST ice cream theme for a little kids room. I'll see if I can find it again to send to you.
Yea I decided to change it to an actual pic of myself, didn't want people getting confused thinking Beyonce was on this birth month board

Babe city! And yes, please find it. I just started looking at baby stuff and I feel like I have nothing done.
Nevermind. It was on my instagram: DestinationNursery
The bedding is from a company called Adairs, but I think they're based in Australia so shipping might be expensive. Here's the website: www.adairs.com.au/
Also, I just searched Pinterest for Ice Cream theme kids rooms.... and I think I'll be stuck over there for a while. So many cute ideas!!!

I just thought I'd tell you that if you are really desperate for a particular item from the US there are services that you can pay for that will allow you to ship to them and then ship it to you. We did this for a few things we really wanted for our wedding.
