We have a morning sickness thread but I wanted to ask this specifically... For those of you who have taken unisom or the unisom/B6 combo, how did the unisom affect you as far as knocking you out? I've been feeling so sick at night and I want to try the unisom/B6 combo but I'm afraid it'll make it hard to function in the morning. I have to fly to Chicago for work tomorrow and I'll be there all week. It's going to be a rough one.
Did Unisom knock you out or make you a zombie the next morning? How long before bed did you take it? How long would you say the effects of it last? (I hate taking meds at all which is why I'm asking, but I need to see if I get some relief from the nausea.)
Ignore me, I just read the diclegis thread again and saw it's the same active ingredient as what's in unisom. I was half asleep when I read it yesterday. I'm going to take the. Tonight and if I'm exhausted I can always sleep on the plane.
As I said in the thread on Diclegis, it did make me very foggy/groggy at first, but I got used to it in a few days. I now am taking the strongest dose (2 at night, 2 in morning) and I don't feel anything. It barely controls my nausea!
