I am debating which double stroller to get. My LOs will be about 20 months apart. We have a single Bob stroller and a Britax B Safe infant seat. I love the Bob and I am debating whether to get the double Bob or something else. I also thought about the Britax B Ready and the City Select. I mainly use the stroller for walks, jogging, and the park, so I like something more all-terrain. Is anyone else looking at double strollers?

*lurking*
You can't jog with the city select. I don't think you are supposed to with the B ready either. I'd get a side by side if you're looking for outside all terrain type.
I'm debating on whether I need a double stroller or not. DD will be 2 1/2 when 2.0 arrives.
+1 (obviously! ). C doesn't mind the stroller this year, though he loves walking around, too. But I have no clue how he'll be in another year. Maybe I'll just wear 2.0 and keep C in an umbrella stroller in the early months.
I AM debating a double jogging stroller, but by the time 2.0 is 6 months old and can safely ride in one, C will be 3 and unlikely to want any part of it.
tgrimes1980 - That sounds like the general ballpark the consignment shop by me sells double strollers. Singles are usually ~$100, doubles from $150-200 depending on brand. Hmmm, maybe they'll let us out early before the long weekend, then I can stop by on my way home...
We bought the Britax B-Ready when pregnant with our first, with the intentions of using it as a double down the road. I love the stroller and think it will be great when we have two little ones. DS will be 22 months when #2 is born, so I definitely think we'll make good use of a double stroller. As he gets a little older, we also have the option of using the stroller board accessory if he doesn't want to ride in a seat.
We love our double BOB! We use it jogging every week with my 2 girls, 1 and 3 years old. It is tough while shopping or in big crowds but great for running. Now we are looking at a single BOB so my DH and I can both push a jogging stroller.

This. We have a single that converts to an inline double with a second seat or a ride on board (Phil and Teds Navigator). I prefer the Bob ironman for jogging but by the time this LO gets here DS will want nothing to do with it. I also don't think I would enjoy jogging with 2. I miss my arms being free when I run with just one.

Ugh. I've been stressing about this all week. I'm a stroller hater but know I'll need one with 3 kids. At first I wanted a City select, but the cost is just crazy high for something I feel like I won't use a lot.
Right now I'm thinking a Chicco double umbrella stroller and keeping our B-agile. I'll get something bigger if I feel like we need it down the road.
DS: Born 8/2/12 at 31 Weeks due to unexplained PTL -------------- ISO a new baby to wear since 10/13 - DX: MFI IVF w/ ICSI - July '15: 13R, 13F, 1T - 6 Frosties - BFP - It split, It's Twins!
It's a little more cost-efficient and it's easy to use. The only thing I don't like is that the second seat only faces backward. DS2 is not cool with that right now. We can switch to the sit n stand option, though. It's pretty easy to maneuver. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and we didn't spend a fortune.

+1 DD is 2.5 and she uses her stroller all the time still. But she'll be 3 years 3 mo when LO arrives and DH reminded me the other day that I wore DD everywhere until she was 1 year (we didn't own a stroller until her birthday) so I think I'm going to try to push it off.
DD is an incredibly slow walker so putting her in the stroller is more for me than her. We walk a lot because of the neighborhood we're in but if we didn't walk/used the car more I wouldn't even consider getting a double at this point.
