I am off to work and then I hope to take the afternoon off for a dentist appointment. My boss has been off so I haven't been able to ask for the time yet!
Baby is scheduled to arrive one week today! I can't believe it!!

Snow here but not where near the "epic storm" they were predicting. I do get to enjoy a snow day out of it though... Time to do laundry and maybe pack my hospital bag.

Heading to my 38wk appointment in a couple of hours. Feeling a little crampy this morning, hopefully this means progress. I was 1cm and about 50% effaced last week. I'm more than happy to let him bake as long as he needs to but this mommy is anxious to meet her little man. Odds are he's gonna make me wait two more weeks. We've been taking bets for when we think he's going to come. I'm down for the 30th, DH thinks the 2nd, and FIL says the 4th. Anybody else trying to guess when your LO will arrive?
I wish we had a snow day! The forecast keeps teasing us for snow at the first of next week; one time you check it says snow, the next time rain. I vote SNOW!
Had the 35 week appointment yesterday, now we're down to visits every week. It's gettin' real, y'all!

Epic fail on the snow predictions for my area. Two hour delay today and it just started flurrying again. Hopefully I get to work with the students I need to so I don't get more behind on my caseload.
I think I need to stop for a hot chocolate on my way to work...

I wish I could have a snow day, but without the snow.
My dog randomly decided to climb onto my face while I was sleeping last night. He's a 10lb fuzzball, but it still scared the shit out of me. He's never done that before. I'm convinced he was trying to smother me while I slept.
At my 39w appointment yesterday I progressed a little. "Definitely a 2 and shorter cervix". Before the internal I asked if she ever strips membranes and she said she doesn't find it to be effective until after a due date but as she was checking for the head and thickness she did strip them. So far nothing is happening though. If I go past my due date I will be scheduled for a 2/4 induction.
Glad to hear about the snow levels being less than predicted. Have a great day everyone!

I was so happy to wake up to zero inches of snow this morning. So, so happy. Although, it would have been fun to have a snow day with DH.
Going in for my 36 week appointment tomorrow evening, I'm getting my GBS test and they'll be checking for Baby A's position. I have nightly pep talks with her "Head down, little one. Head, down." We'll see how that worked out for me.
Other than that, I'm sitting here at work eating first breakfast and drinking mint hot chocolate, second breakfast is already scheduled for around 10:30.
Jealous of all you lovely ladies with the snow days... I'm really and truly struggling to get through these last few weeks before baby... Which pisses me off since I feel like I haven't even enjoyed my pregnancy because the only thing I've been able to think of is how much I DON'T want to be at work during the week, and how much I DON'T want Monday to come on the weekends... I can't even right now... So depressed and over this job, DH and I had a huge fight over it last night since I don't intend on staying here but don't know what I'm going to do after the baby is here... I guess we'll figure something out in 8ish weeks..!
In other news, woke up with terrible period-like cramps at 3 am... they kept me in a form of semi-consciousness until the alarm went off at 6... guess things are moving a long in there! Going to the Dr at 1:30 so we'll see what she has to say about it!
I have been so uncomfortable trying to sleep for the past two nights. I toss and turn all night, end up starving between 5-6 am and fall asleep just in time for my 8 am alarm to sound. This really sucks. I just want to sleep!
Dragging DH out of bed to make me coffee and pancakes. Inspired by Irishcurls, of course. Watching the snow outside is pretty fun, and the winds are definitely strong. Even though today is a "snow day", I have a lot of work to do from home anyhow. Oh, and packing to move! Ugh. Bring on the coffee!!!!
Morning Vipers! We got a dusting for our "blizzard" as well. I miss my snowy New England winters! Not much going on here today, I have to make a trip to the post office and will probably stop and get some curtains to hang in our guest room since that will be LO's nap room. Other than that...homework, installing the car seat, maybe making some cookies and cuddling with Adeline.
I woke up feeling the urge to clean this morning. It was all I could do not to scrub the shower and toilet after using them today.
Then when I got in the car to drive to work I immediately felt like I could fall asleep. I had to roll down the window to stay awake on my 1 hour commute.
Now drinking a big coffee and hoping I make it through the work day.
Well I have an unexpected day off today because my Dr wants me in for an ultrasound at noon. Needless to say DH is quite jealous! I think I'm going to have to plan something tasty for dinner tonight to cheer him up. But in the mean time I'm going to catch up on some crap tv.
Working from home today, have to take a credentialing class which I so don't want to do. Also have my 39 week apt this afternoon. So we'll see how its going.

Eeyore warning
My grandpa passed away yesterday morning. I won't be able to travel for the funeral. I just got off the phone with my mom and I so wish I could be there to help. This would become a major TLDR if I went into all the details but I told her it is a funeral so you have every right to go off on people (ex-wife of her younger brother) if necessary.

Been up since 3. Lost my mucus plug, some bloody show, contractions were 10 mins apart but now seem to be slowing down even more...ugh!
My MW apt is at 10 so we'll see what's what...but I feel like the answer is just keep waiting.
This is exactly what happened to me! It was last Sunday. Hopefully, it keeps progressing as long as you are full term! I only had to wait til Tuesday night for my water to break and go into to deliver the baby on Wednesday. I remember the triage nurses saying that I could have these contractions for weeks without progressing.
