Going back to the baby boner topic. J was watching cartoons in my bed this morning and woke me up to tell me that his penis was bigger. I hope you boy moms are prepared.
If I remember correctly, due to her sleeping woes, she has been convinced to be OAD. My gut tells me she's not though. If I may be so bold to make such a claim about a person I've never met and only have internet feels for. That sounds weird. #toomuchcoffeetoday

This is part of it, and you may be right eventually lol. Maybe someday I'll forget what it's like to go 6 months without sleep. Not anytime in the near future though.
Haha sometimes I think about just stopping at one, but for the opposite reason. LO has been a great sleeper since about 2 months (knock wood) and I keep thinking "there is no way I will get 2 great sleepers...the next one will be a screaming demon".

I was OAD after DD1 because she was so high needs, but birth control failure. DD2 is so different than DD1 and so laid back and I started off more relaxed because BTDT.
It's a fairly recent development. I've been back and forth, and always said I'd revisit it when she's around 4 or 5. But DH and I both agree that we're completely happy with just one. I'll still have my IUD until then, and if I'm sure, I'll go ahead with a tubal. So, it's not completely set in stone.
andplusalso... I don't know if I could handle another baby with sleep issues lol.
@addysmama22 I feel the exact same way. We may also be OAD. I need at least 3-4 years to think things over and distance myself from the horror that is a baby that refuses to sleep. I feel you.

This is my big fear...we made out pretty well this time...I don't know if I want to roll the dice again! LoL I keep saying we'll consider it in a year.

We have the exact opposite situation in our house. Easy going DS1 but still unsure if we wanted more. Major BC fail, and now we have the most high maintenance baby ever!
I've thought about being OAD too, because I love sleep. I think a bigger age gap would make it worse because you'll have to reopen the wound. If anything it makes me just want to knock out the next one (or two depending) and get no sleep for a few years before I remember what it's like. Then I can have all the sleep when they're teenagers.

My TMI: I was doing my Zumba and they have a few moves with jumps and pretty sure I peed myself... I just kept going. We need the kegel reminders again haha
Be thankful ladies to have boys. You only have to worry about 1 penis when they get older. With girls, you have to worry about ALL of them.
My husband made this argument to me as why we should have boys. I was like, yeah, but I can put my daughters on BC. I don't have any control over anything if our son knocks someone up.
I actually have a tmi.. I've gone through 3 giant overnight infinity pads today because they were not fucking kidding when they said your periods were heavier with paragard. Everytime I move I feel a gush.

I know! I'm gonna be like "here honey take your vitamin. Every day. At 7 am."
I was no saint in high school, put myself on bc when I was 16. That said, I married my junior year BF lol. But still I was a tramp, and I have the stamp on my back to prove it lol. Hence the real fear of my girls getting older. I want them to graduate college with no extra parts. Piercing and tattoos I can handle ha!

Awful. So sorry.
Also, I cringe when I think of how many times I'm going to have the door slammed in my face when LO is a teenager.
I fear my daughter will make me pay for the things I did as a teenager.
I think I freak DH out with the stories of things I did as a teenager. He was a good kid until he went to college, me..not so much. I think he fears for himself when DD is a teenager.
My TMI...a co-worker just pointed out to me that the janitors are not emptying the sanitary napkin disposal bins in the ladies restroom...she knows this because her stuff is in there from her period last month and it smells really bad. Yeah I just had to email janitorial company that complaint.

So it is like PP bleeding again? I'm so sorry for how much that sucks.
So many topics being discussed in here! I want 3 or 4 kids, but I def felt like I might be oad right when lo was born. Also he found his penis before he found his feet. Oiy. Uhm circumcision question: my coworker goes to the same gyno office as I do, and she felt like her dr could have "taken a little more off" which I thought sounded weird and like... why?? But now I kind of think that because lo has all this extra skin thats floppy and its been getting red in his diaper from time to time :/ idk... the question was does the skin around ever get loose or reddish?

theteno yeah I know what you mean about the skin getting red. This is TMI but when he has had a little boner, I noticed that "floppy" skin isn't floppy anymore... I think as he grows his doodle will grow and change too and you can see what happens if it's still getting red and irritated.

Floppy? My LO looks like a scared turtle 99% of the time. I feel like it looks like there is extra skin, but it is normal considering how teenie his weenie is. As far as the red goes, we get that if I don't wipe him super well or if he sits it poo for too long. I would ask his doctor if there is a major concern.

I should have described loose skin, not floppy. Ill keep an eye on it for now. It started after a very wet diaper overnight. its not rashy or anything.
