Okay I don't know what happened. My child used to be an angel. She had been sleeping through the night since 2 months old (with a periodic MOTN wake up every few weeks or so) and was completely content during the day up until the point when it became nap time and she'd start to get a little fussy.
No more.
The devil has taken over Brooke's body. For the past 10 days, she's been waking up multiple times a night, and last night she woke up every 2 hours. When she's awake, she's unable to be satisfied, and even if we do a new activity or change up her scenery, she'll be happy for all of 2-5 minutes before she starts screaming again. She's also taken to doing this thing where she arches her back and wiggles around as if she's in need of an exorcism. And getting her down for naps is darn near impossible since, even if she's asleep in our arms, she screams as if she's being pierced by thousands of hypodermic needles as soon as we place her in the crib.
My first thought when reading the name of this thread was "Omg, me too!". You described my kid from day 1. I know it's frustrating. My bet is also on teething since it's a new behavior. Baby wearing works best for us when nothing else does, but not sure how that works when you're preggo? Hope the Tylenol helps!
No great advice- I agree with PPs about Tylenol and teething. Tylenol has helped DD quite a bit the two or three times I've given it to her when she was totally miserable with teething. Hope she feels better soon! So sorry you're dealing with this, especially in the first trimester!

My kid is the same. Only he is fairly happy when awake but it is like wrangling a monkey to get to sleep. Which is 20 minutes, in my arms, if I'm lucky. In our case it's reflux. ..and now teething. I feel for you! Hopefully she is back to her happy self soon so you can get some rest!

Hey guys, so sorry I've been MIA and thank you so much for all of the advice/support! We've tried pretty much everything, and while she's slightly more content during the day, she's still waking up every 2 hours at night.
I'm just praying this ends soon, because I think the lack of sleep has now made me sick.
