Age: 15 months
She has her 15 month checkup this Thursday and will be getting shots.
Milestones: She has gotten one molar now and it working on another bringing her teeth count to 9.
Challenges: Sleep is a challenge again. She was sleeping really well in her crib all night, until she got the ear infection a few weeks ago. Now, she will sleep all night but only in bed with us.
Funny/cute stories:The other morning, she woke up, rolled over on top of me and just started giving me to kisses and hugs. It was so sweet.
How are you? *Warning pregnancy mentioned*
I'm feeling so good today. I have been so anxious since getting our BFP. I found out right afterwards that our former OB doesn't take my new insurance so I have to find a new one. I was able to get an appointment at the Women's clinic here for a free ultrasound but they don't do them until 10 wks. By 10 weeks with Anne, I had my HCG and progesterone levels tested, had progesterone supplements and had 3 ultrasounds. Needless to say, flying blind until 10 weeks was a bit nerve-wracking, especially with this baby having a due date within days of Baby #1. Well, my best friend got me in contact with her friend that works for a clinic in a neighboring town. Her friend needed was in training and needed to practice doing some early ultrasounds. She was able to get me in this morning. We were able to confirm the baby is measuring right on track and has a perfect heartbeat of 174bpm. This takes a ton of weight of me, as you can imagine.
Milestones: I swear he said Tate! He took his first steps unsupported recently, and has two molars.
Challenges: Trying to give him a large variety of stimulating activities.
Funny/cute stories: I recently gave Tate one of my good quality veggie patties for dinner and explained to him that it was loaded with grains, veggies, and corn. I then said (for DH's amusement), that "we would wave hi to Cornelius at tomorrow's dipe change." DH and I were cracking up, and Tate started laughing with us like he was in on the Joke. (OK, I'm gross)
How are you? Good. Trying to regulate my hormones naturally because I got off track and had a painful mid cycle.
QOTW: Explain your avatar, please
It represents the sh!tstorm I went through to get Tate here. Knowing what it will take to give him a sibling, and deciding to try again anyway. (FET Shots, cerclage, bed rest, ect). Family winced at the topic of me giving Tate a sibling (I know they care), but the awesome part about being a grown up 41 year old woman is, to quote George W, " I'm the decider".

Age: 21 months on 2/11
Milestones: Her speech improves every day. Along with her defiance.
Challenges: I swear she's already a teenager. The word 'no' has so many uses I never knew! She's also struggling with sleep lately. She's had a cough the past few days - nothing major, just post nasal drip - but it's keeping her up at night. Plus, she's fighting sleep in general. And did I mention she popped 4 teeth in 10 days with 2 more on the way? Gah!
Funny/cute stories: This kid loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and we usually let her watch an episode after DC while we get dinner rolling. Well, Minnierella was on, and this girl went NUTS! She's now obsessed with princesses, crowns, wands, pumpkins... you name it. If it's princess-related, she's all about it. At bedtime we took her wand away and she cried, "Minnierella! Minnierella!" for about 15 minutes.
How are you? Exhausted, but okay. I've been pretty depressed about my weight recently and work has really picked up. There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day to make everyone happy.
QOTW: Ummm... it's me and MH (maybe slightly or not-so-slightly drunk) at a wedding. This is a judgment-free zone, right? Right?!

Age: 13.5 months
Milestones: I'm not sure she has any new ones this week...
Challenges: Keeping her full...lol I feel like she is ALWAYS hungry. And still no sleep, but that's getting old to keep saying
Funny/cute stories: Yesterday DH went to get her up from her nap and I hid under a blanket in the living room. She woke up saying "mom" and pointed to our bedroom door. She looked in there and then pointed to the bathroom and said "mom!" She then pointed back out into the hallway and into the living room. DH stopped in the hallway and I heard a "mom?" And he took her next to the couch where I was and she pulled the blankie off of me and then got frantic with excitement from finding me. It was pretty cute.
How are you? I'm okay. Having the winter blues. Tired of being in the house and tired of worrying about DD and possible food allergies. I feel a little worn down, but I always seem to feel this way in January.
QOTW: Explain your avatar, please. Well it's me and DH kissing on our way out of our wedding reception

Judged.
Totally kidding btw And the minnierella is the cutest thing I've ever heard.
bethelgal42 that was a nice twist at the end of your story, congratulations! My Dad always told me the squeaky wheel gets the oil. So glad it paid off.

Sorry I'm late to the party, Miss M and I have been fighting a tummy bug. Blech.
Age: She'll be 17 months on Friday.
Milestones: She now says "bye-bye" and signs "please" and "thank you." That makes 2 words and 8 signs. I think she is trying to say Dada, but it sounds like Papa.
Challenges: She's been sick, and has had next to no appetite for the last few days. Her naps have been awful too.
Funny/cute stories: She knows the sign for "night night." Now when she is ready for a nap, or bed, she will pull up into your lap and start saying "bye bye," because we always say bye bye a d blow kisses as we go upstairs.
How are you? Tired and overwhelmed. We are supposed to be hosting a Super Bowl party on Sunday, and the stomach flu has not helped with the cleaning and prep work. I'm so behind. DH had to come home early on Monday, and then take Tuesday off, while I was sick.
QOTW: Explain your avatar, please. That is Miss M and I at her NICU grad shoot, about a week after she turned one.
