AW: submitted our home study paperwork today!

As the title states we have submitted our home study paperwork today and are now onto working on the profile. I am super excited go be moving along in the process and to being done with the endless paperwork. Thought I would share with those who understand this milestone !!!

Wow! Our agency does family profile first. Then have you fill out additional home study like information. We just got packets on packets of info to fill out. I'm glad you see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Congrats! I learned along the way that you should celebrate each step. This process is so very taxing on the emotions that it gives you the boost to get through the next piece of the puzzle!

That's the order in which we did it, too. They used our completed profiles to build the homestudy and then did interviews with us to ask for clarity/additional info/fill in the gaps for the homestudy.

We did home study than profile.  I can see the benefit of the other way around.  For our second adoption we worked on having our profile updated and ready by the time we were approved so we didn't lose out on approval time.

Thanks everyone! Our caseworker is reviewing it all now and I am starting our profile . We hope to be live by October/ November
