I'm hoping it's still a while for us. She already somehow bites on my nipples painfully while nursing so I'd LOVE it if she waited until she was one to get teeth! Plus, I love her gummy smiles.

2 so far. The last few days have been rough on her, and she is sucking on her gums again and chewing on fingers a lot, so I am sure some more are about to pop through. she will be 6 months old in 2 days. this is one milestone I would have been very happy to have taken longer to start, man the bitting hurts and she thinks it is funny when I yelp in pain

No teeth until 3?! Poor kid. Am I the only one that thinks it would be kinda funny to see a kid that big with no teeth? Did it effect her speech? I'm fascinated!
We have no teeth over here but all the signs. I'm hoping I'll see something soon just for some relief. I think I feel something in the back. That would be crazy to get a molar first, right?
None here. I had 4 teeth by 6 months but an easy time teething. LO is apparently taking longer, which I'm glad about, but I hope she takes after me with the easy part.
Zero over here. J got his late which was fine with me. And not that it is related, but he has the most beautiful set of teeth I have ever seen on a child. I'm hoping Max gets the same good teeth genes from H.
Bah! All kids do there own thing. My niece was ff and didn't get teeth until 3.
Thanks! That's not anything I'd ever heard before but she said it like it was common knowledge
I read that bottle-fed babies (whether BM or formula) tend to get teeth in earlier. Some speculate it's related to evolution. I haven't read this in any credible sources though so I would have to agree with minervamae that all kids are different.

It's not all the way through yet but it's there so I said one. We've had drooling and chewing for a couple of months, but I still thought it would be a while. I was surprised today when DS shoved my thumb (his favorite teether) in his mouth and I felt something sharp! It wasn't there yesterday. Crazy -- but it helps explain how miserable he was over the weekend, especially Sunday.

We've got 4 with the 5th sooo close. It's funny. She got the front bottom 2, then the top 2 on either side of where her front teeth should be. She's got lil fangs.
