Tried to get back on a facial skincare regimen. Tried a new SPF moisturizer. It was super hot this weekend so we didn't spend much time outside. My cheeks feel bumpy and itchy. Ugh.

gldnbearz - I use the Olay sensitive one because it is less harsh chemicals. I use it daily and it has the SPF. It's the daily moisturizer. zengal- that sucks! It has been either warm or cold and the AC has been on. Now we are in full fall mode here. The leaves are changing.

I just noticed that my boss scheduled me to have Isaac's birthday off so we are planning a day trip to the Teddy Bear factory. DH made me a teddy bear there and Isaac is obsessed with it. We thought we could make one for him and they have a whole little tour on how they are made. I just know he would love all the colors and bears. We also are working on a puppet theatre for a gift. We have a weird random window in our living room that looks into the dining area. We are going to put in storage and dress it up. He loves puppets.
Gldnbearz I've had trouble with the olay stuff if it's not the sensitive kind. I've been using the eucrin facial moisturizer w spf 30. I really like it and it doesn't make my sensitive skin break out.
We are in full fall mode here today songbirdsinging, it's been getting down right cold at night. The teddy bear idea is great for Isaacs bday!
Quiet day! I just questioned the mom of the family we share a nanny with about her second baby plans. Not using a daycare center has perks: $$$, but does feel like a house built on sand.
Headed to pick up LO now. Hoping she's not a snotty mess.

DD has suddenly decided she is only going to eat the lil crunchies and animal crackers. She's refusing to eat anything else and will only take a bottle from me. I feel like she needs to stop trying to exert her independence on food front.

On day 5 of our sleep training. Allison only napped 30 mins all day. I started crying to my husband cuz I feel this is just not working, but he's telling me he thinks she's better at night. I guess I'll give it a few more day. This is seriously depressing.

LO has trained us to change her diaper and jammies, wash hands and face, give her a bottle and hold/cuddle her until asleep. Going into the PNP awake means stand up and yell.
Cosleeping night two/ I don't think he likes it. He is trying to kick me out of the way so he can just sleep without touching us. 6 days to go.... And this bed is so small.
He is finally falling a sleeping at 10pm.
Is it bad that I don't like vacationing with a child? Because I don't.
He woke up screaming/inconsolable. After a full hour (he has never done this) we are in the car. H is driving. He is starting to sleep. Hoping he will stay asleep to transition back into the house. Otherwise I am calling the dr to see what she says.
I know it's strange to worry over crying an hour straight but Liam doesn't ever cry that hard with no consoling
Okay update: he fell asleep in the car and then when I went to transition him he just like woke up. Prior to his eyes were closed and he was just non stop screaming.
Brought him into the house again, he drank from his a bottle a couple ounces and fell asleep.
I think maybe it was a night terror. He has had them before but like a brief five minutes or so.
It was just an obvious wake up and alert look. And now he is peacefully sleeping next to us.
Someone on the internet once said vacationing with kids isn't a vacation: it's a trip.
Sounds like you're on a trip jjh. Maybe the night terrors were worse because of unfamiliar surroundings? Maybe over tired and wound up at the same time because of the newness?
Yeah we are on a trip. Only one of us has to go to this wedding. I tried talking H into going home instead of continuing on to key west. He said no way.
Damn.
He was definitely overtired. I hope tonight will be better.
