Shamelessly reposted from Badass BF'ers of New Jersey, but I'm so excited and wanted to share with you ladies.
I know most of us are encouraged by moms who persevere with breastfeeding-related stuff, but today I'm so excited about ... quitting! The pump. I work (more than) full time, and although my 11-month-old still nurses in the morning and when I get home, she has weaned from bottles, so no more pumping for meeee! No more pumping in the car while driving and freezing, no more pumping on planes and hotels and conferences, no more dragging coolers of pumped milk through customs offices, no more dressing for boob access at short notice. I love nursing and will do it for as long as she's interested, but I haaaate pumping. I feel like a weight has been lifted
