Jax it's tough because her napping is different when she goes to daycare. With me she has a short 30min nap about 2.5hrs after she wakes up and then a longer nap around 11 and the longest one in the afternoon's around 230
. It's really just when she's tired, sometimes she only does 2 naps. Not really regimented

My LO's morning nap is usually from 9:30-11:00, and her afternoon one is from 3:30-5:00. I did nothing to push this schedule, it's just what she fell into.
LO is better at napping with her nanny. She takes two naps - 9-10am and then 1:30-3:30... At home with us? 9-10ish and then 1:30-3 on a good day. Sometimes she will only do 45 minutes in the afternoon with us. Yay.
She usually takes two naps per day. Her first one is about two hours after she wakes up, and ranges from an hour and a half to four hours (for real). Her afternoon one is usually a half hour. That's at daycare. With me on the weekends, there's no telling! She definitely determines the schedule.
We started STTN at month 8. She goes down at 7pm and is usually up between 5:45-6. She's been in her own bed since about 5-6 weeks old, but coslept with us after 3am usually. She's been in her bed full time since May.
Honestly, I don't know what changed or what the magic switch was... there's a combo of things that I think helped:
1. we got regimented about solids/foods/bottles so she was eating enough to not need food middle of the night 2. we figured out how to keep her binkies in her bed - she might still wake up but she can find her binky now, shove it in her face and then curl back up 3. loud white noise machine for mom to allow self facilitation of point 2
She's also put herself to sleep for many months. We did do this through sleep training at month 4? 5? I really don't remember. We called them three minute drills. We'd get her in her jams, do the routine, give her her milk then lay her in her bed with binkies and leave for 2 minutes for a week, then upped it to three minutes. Honestly we just kept going. The hardest part was to stop pulling her into bed at 3am, but truth be told - she didn't want to be in our bed and didn't exactly sleep well with us either.
Liam naps usually around 1.5-2 hrs after he wakes up. Roughly anywhere between 9 and 11. Then another nap around three hours later, roughly 12-3 or so (starting time). Each nap can be as little as 20 min or as much as two hours. But total between the two is usually only 2 hours. So if he takes a two hour nap at 11, he won't have another nap again for the day. (I do not like those days)
Sleeping overnight- bath and bed time is 8pm. Routine is: Bath Bottle while he holds his lovie Read goodnight moon at the same time (he won't even start sucking on the bottle until I say "in the great green room"
Takes a lot of hands but he turns the page for me and I have it memorized so I just hold the book up lol.
Wake ups can be as little as once or as many as every two hours. I usually give up by 2 or 3 and he sleeps with us on bad nights.

For nighttime, LO goes to sleep at 8:30, wakes to nurse around 12:30 and 3, and then is up for the day at 6:00. She's a morning person! Haha.
When she turned 9 months, I decided she was ready to go to sleep on her own in her crib. So I stood by her crib and patted/shushed her while she cried for 30 minutes that day. Ever since, it's been relatively easy to put her down. There are still some days where she fusses for up to 10 minutes before falling asleep, but usually she goes down easily now. I was super against CIO, which is why I stay with her next to the crib and don't leave, but I'm seriously so glad I did that now. I guess I sort of made up my own method of sleep training for what I knew would work for my specific baby. Now looking back, she was probably ready to do this at 8 months, but not before. I do not think this would have worked AT ALL before then. Every baby is definitely so different, and they are all ready to sleep on their own at different times!
I read in one parenting book that "If your baby is not putting herself to sleep on her own by 6-8 months, your window of time has passed and it will be considerably harder to teach them." This was completely false, I just waited until I knew she was ready (which for us was 9 months) and then it was easy.

Nap routine is sound machine, nurse, then crib drowsy but when I put her in the crib she just rolls over stands up and it's now play time. Night time routine is bath, nurse, books, sound machine and crib drowsy but the same thing happens. She is deff tired at the 2-3-4 method but will not nap at those specific times so it throws up the whole day. I'm getting super frustrated. My mom had to come over today to do naps. So far morning nap didn't happen for an hour and it's already been 1 hour of trying for afternoon nap. I think now that we have done the crib only for a week we are going to have to have her cry it out. We were semi successful with timing her crying for 10-15 mins a few months ago but then teeth and a cold ruined it
Ah okay, hmmm what about if when you put her down you shush and rub her nose? That helps liam sleep. Or like if she were a newborn to keep your hand on her for the transition?

My mom had to come over and do nap times today. She said she left her play then went in after she started crying. Laid her down, touched her chest and she was out in 15 mins. Morning nap was 1 hour and afternoon nap was 2. So we will see how tonight goes
