It is making me nervous to be so bold as to join a month board, but I could really use some support during these first anxious weeks, and having a community to commiserate with sounds comforting, so here goes...
We've been actively TTC #3 since Aug 2014. We have boy/girl twins who are 5 years old (donor sperm IUI with clomid and metformin for my dx, which is PCOS). I got pregnant in Nov 2014, but it implanted in my c-section scar, which is very dangerous so I had to take methotrexate to resolve it.
I'm pregnant now from our 5th medicated IUI, EDD May 23, 2016. It was our first time using femara instead of clomid. Not sure if that made a difference or not, but whatever it was that did it, I'll take it!
I had betas drawn at 14dpo (43.8) and 16dpo (138), and an ultrasound at 6w0d. The ultrasound was a little worrisome, so the RE is bringing me back tomorrow (Friday, 6w4d) for another one.
Symptoms come and go, so I am a big ball of nerves. I am praying hard for this little one! Also, I suppose I should mention that I am brand new to this forum (how did I not know it existed?!). I am usually on the GBCN TTTC boards and on my local DC-area nest spin-off board under the same user name.
