Hi laides!
My craft of choice is knitting. I do a lot of projects through the year! And stock them up for a Christmas craft shows, but a couple friends are pushing me to do year round orders.
I also dabble in photography. I was much more into it before having B. He's become my only subject lately.

Yay, a craft board!
My main thing is making soap, perfume, lip balm, and other handmade cosmetics. I have a website and an Etsy shop for that.
On the hobby side of things, I used to make and sell jewelry but quit when the soap thing took off. But I've started trying to get back into it. (Mostly I've just been hoarding supplies.)
Also, I bought a sewing machine a few summers ago with the intention of (re)learning how to sew, but it's been sitting in the closet in it's box since then. I swear I will find the time, some day.
Oh yay! A craft board! If there was one of these pre-exodus I didn't know about it, but I was pretty much just on my BMB- Aug 14. I craft less now than pre-baby but as the daughter of a former home ec teacher I've been crocheting since at least kindergarten. I knit, but only rectangles, so it barely counts. I also hand sew (too lazy to re-learn the machine which I haven't used since childhood) and do some decorating, paper crafting and digital scrapbooking.

Oh OOooo a craft board! I'm more excited about this than I probably should be.
Mainly I knit, though I also do miniature painting and water color painting. I have a craft room in my house that doubles as a library. It's delightful. I would like to get into quilting and beading as well. I don't if it counts, but I also like to do "homesteading" type crafts such as soap making and paper making. I also really enjoy primitive skills such as making cordage and ropes out of natural fibers, natural dye methods, and gourd crafting.

I'm intrigued...paper making? Details, please?!
I've only done it once so far, and it turned out well. This is a really good site I think to learn about it. It's really more paper recycling and making new paper I think. But it's cool.
Hi! I was a member of the craft corner on TB, so I'm going to miss that now and figured I'd intro here.
I've been crafty my whole life. I do lots of paper crafts (scrapbooking, card making, that sort of thing), I started knitting a couple of years ago, I do a bit of floral arranging, I'll try almost anything crafty.
I mostly knit, sometimes crochet, and have dabbled in other things. (Sewing didn't really take off for me.) I finished the first round of baby sweaters the other night (because now I have to make two of everything since it's twins!), and I started the next set. I'm usually terrible about remembering to take pictures of my work, but this time I'll make an effort.

Yay crafts! I am really into crochet at the moment. I also love to knit, but because DD is so... helpful I live in constant fear of irreparably dropping stitches. Crochet is much more hardy.
After a flurry of Christmas gifts I'm working on a blanket for me. I'll try and get a picture up

Hello!
I mostly sew, cross which and bake (can I consider that a craft?). I've dabbled in knitting but I'm not very good and crocheting both fascinates and frightens me. I've been mostly finishing up odd and end projects like unpaper towels and burp cloths for a friend. I love making dresses for DD and recently up cycled a disagreed dress shirt into a peasant dress.
Hi fellow crafters! Kingbaby here. I've been knitting for 7 or 8 years. I'm currently in the post-giftmas I don't wanna knit slump. Hoping it ends soon.

Hi! I had Fox in December and I did all kinds of crafts for him and his corner of the apartment. I paint, sew, knit a little. I'll pretty much do any craft if it's not too time consuming or expensive. I really want to encourage Creativity for my kid (and possible future kids).
Well, I'm finally at a computer with a keyboard, so I'll intro now! I've been crafting since... forever. I do a little bit of everything, but here are most of the things I've done the last few years:
Sewing - making clothes for myself, mostly, but would love to make more of a side business out of this. Someday I'll make a rag quilt and a puff quilt. Knitting & Crocheting - Ravelry: Renea0685 Vinyl decals Card making Quilling Some soapmaking (glycerin) Cross Stitch Glass Etching
I have been crocheting for about 4 years and just learned to knit over Christmas and fell in love with it. Just finished a set of hats and diaper covers for a newborn photo shoot that I love and hopin to start knitting a baby blanket since I'm due in September.
I never posted on this board on "the other place", but I'm a knitter (a newbie knitter). I'm currently working on a 10 stitch baby blanket. I am going to have a light green border when I'm done. Edit: Adding picture
I'm glad I browsed the boards and found this! I'm a SAHM to an 8 month old girl. I picked up sewing as a hobby and I love it so much that I'm going to turn it into a business. My plan is to start selling on FB and Etsy. I do mostly baby clothes and accessories, but have made a few adult and household items too. I was an active poster on June '14 at the other place. Nice to meet y'all!
Hey ladies!! Decided I would come hang out over here too, maybe it will actually encourage me to finish some of my many projects!
I dabble in lots of things, and I am by no means an expert at any of them. I d paper crafts, some scrapbooking, I can sort of crochet and I used to spend a lot of time knitting. I do cross stitch and also various sewing projects.
Right now I am working on a cross stitch project with beading. I also really need get my latest sewing project finished... (AW) DH and I built a bed frame and I am sewing a bedskirt for it because it is an odd size. I would like to have that done sooner rather than later. I have a cricut and enjoy being able to create with that but I have been having issues with it. I am considering upgrading to the silhouette cameo I just have to convince myself it is a worthwhile purchase for the amount I am actually going to use it
Looking forward to getting involved here and seeing all the pretty projects!

So excited to find a craft board! I'm a bit of a dabbler too nuggetrn. I haven't found anything that I have just fallen in love with but I really enjoy all things crafty. My craft of the moment is sewing. I have dabbled in jewelry, painting, scrapbooking, and cross stitching just to name a few.
I'm excited too! I think this board has had more hits than Crafty Corner.
I am a crocheter/knitter/sewer. My mom taught me crochet 19 years ago (holy crap) and I learned to knit in college. I mostly sew straight lines, but apparently I'm the only one in my family who can because I get everyone else's projects. (Its ok, they pay in donuts).
Right now I'm knitting a prayer shawl that will take FOREVER but its really nice. I'll probably make two or three other projects while I work on it because I have the attention span of a goldfish.

I'm a brand new newbie having received my first sewing machine for Christmas. But I've already made 4 matching sets of bibs and burp clothes for my new niece and I'm hooked. Sewing is so much fun and I'm scouring Pinterest for my next project. I am also attempting to learn to crochet but sadly it's not going well.
bellefontaine I got mine right around Halloween and it's one of the most addicting (legal) things I've done! I also highly recommend a serger. They are intimidating at first, but it has changed my life! Welcome!

Tell me more! What does it do? See I'm a total dummy but I want to learn.

They finish seams. Flip your shirt cuff inside out. All those threads is what a serger does. It helps with durability and to give your finished product a professional look. You definitely don't need one, but they are nice to have. Don't get me wrong, you can do a lot with a sewing machine with all the different stitches, too! Facebook groups and YouTube have been a great tool for me to learn different techniques, the differences between needles and threads, links to patterns, and troubleshooting. It's an awesome hobby and wish I would have learned sooner.

Oh wow! Thanks for the info! I will look into getting one. I'm ready to move on to something a little more challenging than a burp cloth now. Just can't decide what would be best to tackle.

Hello! Kelly here.
I am a long time knitter and Cross stitcher. I just started to get the hang of crochet. Looking at making a blanket soon using granny squares. I like doing little home fixes too.
Married 10/10/10! TTC Baby #1 since April 2014 BFP Oct 16 - EP terminated Nov 6 2014 Off the Bench January 2015! BFP #2 June 1 2015 - EDD Feb 12 2016! Baby Boy born 15th February 2016!
Finally came to hang out back at the craft board! It seems much more active than the last one I sew, embroider, kind of knit (I can do it, I just never finish things), paint, draw, and do digital design. I love to design and make costumes and I have been dabbling in furniture making (with help from my dad).
Hi! I recognize a few of you. I'm the Bump's Craft Corner's ex-mod, I also posted on Parenting, Pre-school and Schoolage of late. DH and I have our 10yr anniversary this fall, and we have a 2nd grade son and a Pre-K daughter, two enormous puppies (Great Pyrenees/Lab mixes) and one grumpy old dachshund.
I do pretty much everything- I sew, knit, crochet, do woodworking, a little quilting, some paper crafts, dye and fabric alteration. My newest toy is a kiln, though, I'm not totally new to ceramics (just new to being able to fire them myself). If I haven't done it yet, I'll probably try it soon.
I can't promise I'll be around much, but, I'll try!
