Following up, if you are a runner don't be shocked if you sometimes can't hold it anymore towards the end of pregnancy and once you first deliver...Just call me Miles Davis

YES! I am Greek and Italian so I opted for laser hair reduction everywhere--legs, pits, tummy, bikini--and it worked great (note: past tense). Now I'm back to my pre-laser scary-hairy self. I hate to know what will happen mid-summer, swimsuit season when I can't see anything but my ankles and armpits. The only plus is that my dark, curly hair is growing lush on my head...and sadly everywhere else.

kcebeling yeah, there are definite perks to being of the dark haired persuasion, like fierce brows and gorgeous eyelashes. But man, there's a price to be paid. To hair removal industry. For your whole damn life.

You won't care lol. But tip #2 of the day:
Stand with one foot on the toilet and you can shave and see your legs. Nothing like flying blind and then wondering where all that blood is coming from. Because we all know razor nicks don't hurt until you actually see them.

Oooh! This is no joke. This is some serious intel being shared here. 
I thought I was safe. My kid was a few years old and I had no problem with your typical running and jumping. 
Then I went to an indoor trampoline park. 
I was amazed at the amount of urine that can be expelled after one has already gone to the bathroom. Let's just say I didn't get my money's worth out of that little excursion since I quickly fled the premises.

That was me last week but also add that since I was mid shower I was also butt naked!  So you couldn't really tell that I peed while puking because I was also dripping shower water everywhere.  Talk about being a hot mess!  Dignity starts to dissipate pretty early in motherhood I guess!  What's a good combo word for peeing while puking....peeking?  lol

1) Post partum hair loss is no joke. I thought I was going bald for realz.

2) Maybe TMI, but an ice cold face cloth can be a life saver in the days following a vaginal birth. (Tucks from the freezer is even better!).

STEAL ALL THE EVERYTHING.
The mesh underwear, the pads, the squirt bottle thing, a baby blanket (they count those. Take one and run) pretty much anything not nailed down. I lived in those mesh underwear for weeks. I wish they could be my all the time underwear. They are so comfortable.

This! Holy moly! My legs look like man legs if I don't shave them on an every other day basis. And well, then there is all the other hair. It's not worth the thick hair on my head.

Steal all the things and also ask as many different nurses as possible for some extras! I asked three different nurses if I could possibly please get an extra package of mesh undies, and I was well stocked and wore those for almost two months. If you end up with a section, you still want the ice pack panty liner things, too - instead of wearing them in the crotch like normal, stick it to the waist band of the undies so the pad is on your incision. It is wonderful, soothing, non-stick, anti-inflammatory heaven against your incision that will also absorb any bleeding or (barf) puss.

oh pooping, it's so scary that first time. I mean let's be honest, after child birth you do NOT want to try and push anything else out of your body for awhile!
