What's the standard recommend care for baby fat roll creases? Especially neck, armpit, leg roll. DD has several, of course, but when I bathe or change her I've been noticing they constantly collect a build up that's not terribly pleasant smelling. I pull open and wipe with baby wipe or washcloth but the creases are so red and look sensitive. I want to dry up with baby powder and keep wiping them because I'm afraid of yeast/infection but I don't want to hurt her or remove too much of the oil her skin is naturally producing. What did you all do with your LO? Thanks!

Maybe just try using a damp washcloth. I never really had an issue with rolls thanks to my string bean, so my experience is limited. If the rolls are already irritated, I would think that the more you wipe her down, the more irritated her skin will become. I wouldn't use baby powder though, if anything I would try coconut oil. I think coconut oil is the shit, but I also tend to be a little crunchy.

Hmmm... I've never had the baby fat rolls problem. But the neck area is a problem for everyone I would say because of drinking and eating, spit up, etc. Just be diligent about keeping it clean. I know a lot of people suggest not to bathe babies everyday, but we always have.
PSA - Don't use baby powder. The particles get everywhere and the babies can breathe it in and cause breathing / lung issues.

Aquaphor is the best thing ever. We use it for babes bum with every diaper change, on any cuts he gets due to his razor sharp talons, when the drool gets outta hand and they get little rashes on their shins, just, for everything.

If you do ever have a bad diaper rash or tush that looks like it's getting red and painful, Triple Paste is (wait for it) A-MAZ-ING. Clears my LO up overnight. I also use it after he poops and it helps offset the wiping he must endure.

mom2boxers I haven't tried triple paste before who makes it? For diaper rash I've used resinol per another mommas (she has 6 kids so she must know something), advice. It works great for it. I got it on amazon but I think you can ask for it at the pharmacy counter.

I'm telling you coconut oil is where it's at. It's like Franks red hot, I put that shit on everything. Diaper rash, cradle cap, dry skin, hair conditioner, I could go on for days, lolz.
