Calculating How Far Along with Delayed O?

Hello there! I am hoping maybe some of you will bring some wisdom to this for me.

I had my blood levels taken today, and my nurse said it was positive, but that my HCG levels were kind of low (181). I'm trying not to freak out, as there are lots of logical reasons for this and I'm still in the normal range for being 17 DPO. I am going back in for another draw on Friday. FX.

Before my MC I consistently Oed around CD 16/17. After my MC my cycles (there have only been 2) have been wonky and longer. I only started temping again this cycle, and I Oed around CD31. Going off my LMP, which I'm sure is what my nurse is doing, that would put me at around 6.5 weeks. To get a more accurate idea of where I am, do I estimate a 14 day O plus my 17DPO and guess I am around 4.5 weeks?

Babycenter (I know, unicorn farts and rainbows...etc) has a due date calculator based on your o date you can use. That's what I did.

That is perfect. Pretty much confirms my guess - LMP edd puts me 2 weeks ahead of O edd.

I temped for O and on dpo17 mine was 177. I am currently 37w3d. Will you go for another beta in two days?

At your first appointment you may want to mention that you've had irregular cycles and that you've been tracking ovulation and believe you ovulated late in your cycle. They may order a dating ultrasound if they weren't going to already. That's what I've told my doc with DS and this pregnancy and the did early ultrasounds.

I would definitely use O date. I O'ed on cycle day 32 for this pregnancy. The doctor didn't really want to hear about my chart or any of that, they just went by LMP. On the other hand, it was a great excuse for a dating ultrasound. Also, I got in a bit earlier for my first apt. because they thought I was 2 weeks further along than I knew I was.

Congratulations on the pregnancy. If you're concerned about your hcg levels you can always request a follow-up test. I didn't know how far along I was when I got my bfp so I asked for two bHcg tests. My first was only 53, but 48 hrs later it was 171. This just told me that I was doubling appropriately. When I had my dating u/s weeks later I learned that I was only 10 dpo and 12 dpo when I tested.
