For the kids: baked chicken nuggets with different dipping sauces and some Annie's Bunnies snack mix.
For everyone: veggie and fruit trays, home-made guacamole with store-bought tortilla chips, buffalo chicken dip (I use a recipe from Food Network/Rachael Ray, I can't remember which mag I pulled it from) with celery and crackers.
My husband does two chilis: one red and one white.
Cornbread on the side
Brownies for dessert.
It's our annual chili dinner and excuse to get together with my H's college buddies and their wives and kids.
Last year I made Alton Brown's Baked Mac and Cheese and it was well-received. I may make it this year depending on time.
No really, I have no idea. We're just staying home with the IL's, and I don't think BIL/SIL are coming this year... so we'll probably do a frozen pizza, maybe weenies or meatballs in the crock pot. Nachos? I saw an onion ring mix in the pantry, maybe we'll make Onion Rings??
And H wants a French Silk Pie from Baker's Square.... dork.
We are hosting so I ordered some Italian beef for sandwiches and then I am going to make some mostaccioli. My SIL is bringing a broccoli salad and my sister is bringing a veggie tray and chips/dip. I was thinking about adding a veggie pizza appetizer. We'll see if I have time.

Thanks for this post! We've been hosting the SB for a few years now and I like hearing ideas.
Crockpot chicken wings Alligator bread: Take loaf of french bread and assemble pepperoni, cheeses, olives, etc. with toothpicks in rows. Cut mouth on one end and insert apple, make eyes out of olives. Looks kind of like an alligator. My mom always made this for parties. Chips and dip/salsa Maybe chili. Good idea mightythorgi!
I am thinking about making some pizzas and having toppings on hand for people to choose. Definitely chicken buffalo dip and probably veggies and fruit. Most likely wings. Also it's Harry Styles birthday so I'm making a heart shaped rainbow cake.

I'm so bummed we aren't having anyone over Of course, I probably can't even stay up to the end of the game, so it's probably for the best. I think I'll have to make beef & bacon chili!

We're hosting and I'm just starting to make a list...my husband wants me to make my chili, Velveeta and salsa is our go to dip so that's easy, kielbasa with brown sugar in the crock pot. My sister will make taco bites in tostitos scoops and brownies..I do need a few more things so I'll be checking this thread later!
I honestly forgot the Super Bowl was on. But I'll use any excuse (not that I need it) to eat like crap. So subs and fried food galore here! I don't cook. I'm not sure what H will make. But it's just us. No fun here.
But all your food sounds good. Feel free to send my way.

This post is making me hungry. I am going to do a buffalo chicken tenders, spinach artichoke dip, and PB2 brownies. For LO I will probably do ravioli or pasta salad since those are her favorites.

I'm trying out a new dip for my work party tomorrow. It's like buffalo chicken dip, but instead of chicken you use califlower. I found it on pinterest.

mightybee here's the cookie dough dip, it my signature dip lol This isn't the original blog I found it on but the recipe is the same minus the pinch of salt. I serve it with mini nilla wafers. And it's completely acceptable to eat with a spoon, by yourself, in a corner, so you don't have to share.

We're going to DH's cousin's house like we do every year. This year I'm going to make chicken nachos. I plan on putting the chicken from this crockpot meal over nacho chips with melted cheese, cilantro, scallions, sour cream, etc. (http://www.skinnytaste.com/2009/02/crock-pot-santa-fe-chicken-425-pts.html)
