Apparently bean box play is exhausting! I am so proud of her today. She played so well while mommy has been sick on the couch. This first trimester MS and exhaustion is kicking my butt! Time for some tea so I can get some energy in me and pull myself off the couch!
Ok today's beta was >1371. It popped up on my health record thing. I think that sounds ok. But, it looks like they are diluting the specimen. So, I think I am happy. Just waiting for the phone call.

Such a gross day out here so I'm lifting my spirits by ordering matching pajamas for me and DD from Hanna Andersson. I'm a dork
Good luck nitecheese! Let us know how the appt goes!
Catching up, but I love hanna andersson! My mom worked there when I was a kid so I grew up in it and am always excited to go to the outlet store for DS. I've never bought anything for myself as an adult but I think I might need to.
I saw that someone mentioned chai tea before. I have had a cup of this maybe 3 times so far. Is it safe to drink on a daily basis? It makes my MS go away and gives me energy. Just curious if anyone's asked their OB or drank it during another pregnancy. I have been meaning to call and ask.

It should be fine because it's just tea and spices (with milk and sugar usually). Just keep in mind that it has caffeine so drink in moderation and not shortly before bed.
My dinners are getting more and more random... hot dogs, sautéed kale, and half an avocado.
Totally sounds like something I'd eat. Last night I had one cold slice of pizza, a bunch of raw spinach, and a handful of nuts. Tonight I actually had the energy to cook - it's a mac'n'cheese night

If you can find decaf chai that would be even better but I think regular tea has less caff than coffee to begin with. My doc sent me a email with some things to avoid when I made my first prenatal appt. this is what it said about caffeine:
Reduce your caffeine intake to one cup or less of coffee a day. If you drink other beverages with caffeine, such as tea or soda, switch to ones without caffeine.
Anyone else freezing? No matter what I put on I seem to always be ice cold. Super annoying.
Is this a pregnancy thing? I've been sooo cold the last few days. I jumped in the bath with my son tonight to warn my bones.
I'm guessing it's related. This never happened with DS but this pregnancy I just can't warm up. I'm sitting under 2 blankets right now with my pup on my lap as a personal heater lol

My husband is convinced that being freezing cold was my very first pregnancy symptom. I'm never, never cold. I'm one of those people who wears t-shirts in the winter and sleeps without covers. But starting 2 days before my BFP I was so cold I needed EXTRA layers - two jackets, 3 blankets on the bed. I thought maybe I was getting sick. Now at 8 weeks I'm still the same way. Go figure.
