Well pregnancy symptoms are tame, except for gas and heartburn. But I'm sick so that's no fun.

2. Have you found out the sex of your baby? If so, tell us!! If not, are you going to find out?
No not yet, but I really want to know so bad lol. Yes I will find out

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?
Yes, I have one on Wednesday. Hopefully they schedule me for my anatomy scan.

4. Anything new or exciting this week?
Nope not really.

1. How are you feeling this week? I think as of today, we should all be officially in the 2nd trimester!!!!
I'm feeling....normal...this week. Tired still because I. don't. sleep. at. all. But I'm hoping I can sleep in a little this weekend! But mostly not excited about not fitting into anything anymore. I really need to go shopping.

2. Have you found out the sex of your baby? If so, tell us!! If not, are you going to find out?
We don't get to find out until March 9th They are totally pushing it to 20 weeks. Poop sticks.

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?
No appointments this week or next. Ugh!

4. Anything new or exciting this week?
I've had a lot of "stretching" going on this week and on Monday felt a very distinguished "pop" on the lower left side. I'm convinced it's baby since I haven't felt it since. Everybody, just let me believe that. I also notice that sometimes my belly sticks out more on the left side. And yesterday LO was practicing karate on my bladder. Not that it's exciting to have to pee every two minutes but knowing that it's the baby is so sweet!

BACON!

Still battling off and on nausea, still mostly on.  I'm also battling the onset of a cold, so that's no fun.


2. Have you found out the sex of your baby? If so, tell us!! If not, are you going to find out?
Not yet!  I confirmed yesterday our a/s will be when I'm 20 weeks, so only about 5 more to go - early March!

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?
I had one on Tuesday - everything is great!


4. Anything new or exciting this week?
I ordered my first baby thing this week - prints for the nursery!  Now that I've decided on a theme I can get moving on it slowly so it's small costs over a long period of time.  The nursery decor will be our most expensive purchase this time around.


QOTW 5. If you had to eat the same thing for breakfast everyday for the rest of your life, what would you choose? I think a toasted poppyseed bagel with plain cream cheese and lox.  Oh so good.  I might've had one yesterday.  I can't stay away from lox this time around.

1. How are you feeling this week? I think as of today, we should all be officially in the 2nd trimester!!!! - feeling ok at the moment. I'm losing weight, hair's falling out, and my stomach is constantly hurting so I have a call in to the doctor's office. REALLY hoping it's nothing serious.

2. Have you found out the sex of your baby? If so, tell us!! If not, are you going to find out?
I haven't yet. I'm barely 13 weeks but I'm hoping I can find out around 17-18 weeks.

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?
Nope, my next appointment isn't until 2/20. Although I think they may have me come in when I talk to them about my issues.

4. Anything new or exciting this week?
Not really. It's been an incredibly long week and I'm ready for it to be over.

QOTW 5. If you had to eat the same thing for breakfast everyday for the rest of your life, what would you choose?
mmmm.....That's really tough. Probably a chicken biscuit from chick fil a.

1. How are you feeling this week? I think as of today, we should all be officially in the 2nd trimester!!!!
I'm still physically fine, but had a bit of an emotional break this week.

2. Have you found out the sex of your baby? If so, tell us!! If not, are you going to find out?
Yes! We're having a boy!! Our DS is 2 and I'm excited for brothers.

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?
No appointments this week. I had my NT last week and will be back at 16w.

4. Anything new or exciting this week?
I picked a nursery theme (DS's room wasn't done when we brought him home from the hospital, so I'm getting a head start this time.) We're doing monsters and I finished a painting for his wall

carli are you losing weight because of constant nausea? Has your OB ruled out HG? A good friend recently was diagnosed with similar symptoms after an ER visit :/

Right now I'm feeling terrible. I caught a stomach bug from DS and have been throwing up more than normal since 3am on Tuesday. I'm so dehydrated that I now have a killer headache, as well.

2. Have you found out the sex of your baby? If so, tell us!! If not, are you going to find out?

Yes, we are having a girl! We are so excited!

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?

No, not until Feb. 11th. A/S is scheduled for Feb. 25th.

4. Anything new or exciting this week?

Not really. Feeling sick is really trumping everything else right now and I'm just miserable.

QOTW 5. If you had to eat the same thing for breakfast everyday for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

Probably toast with peanut butter and banana slices. And a latte.

Very gassy but overall pretty good.

4. Anything new or exciting this week? Pretty boring week for me and I get to work this weekend.

Feeling so much better at 14w2d. I'm hungry a lot, but that's about a million times better than dealing with constant nausea. I am on pelvic rest due to Placenta Previa and that sucks.

2. Have you found out the sex of your baby? If so, tell us!! If not, are you going to find out?

Having a girl. Stuck on names. My husband likes Fiona and Rosalee. Thoughts on these? Be honest! I seem to have name block and can't even think about it right now.

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?

Next appointment is in mid-February. I've been feeling little flutters!

4. Anything new or exciting this week?

Hard core researching baby gear - this is my second tri in a nutshell. Currently looking at wraps for the first 6 months of the baby's life. I need to start touring daycare options as well. Putting that off til March, probably.

QOTW 5. If you had to eat the same thing for breakfast everyday for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

Canadian bacon, waffles, grapefruit. That's seriously the spread my husband makes me every morning and it's amazing.

I am so tired all the time and have had a killer headache this week, but other than that I feel good! Yay second trimester for everyone!

I haven't, at this point I am planning to! It will be at least another month or so.

No appointments for a few weeks.

4. Anything new or exciting this week?
We haven't told anyone that we are having a baby yet - all of our family is spread out all over the state (Texas...so pretty far apart), but we are taking a road trip this weekend to see everyone and share the news!

Cap'n Crunch or Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal.

Grrr, no!!!! We don't have the anatomy scan until March 10th! TORTURE!

Nope, nothing until mid February!

Monday, my pants hit the breaking point, lol!!! Thankfully I had planned to go pants shopping this Saturday anyway!

A breakfast sandwich with buttery toast, scrambled egg, bacon, ham, cheese, and mayo. GET IN MY BELLY!

doctaco This may be stupid but what is HG? I haven't even spoken to my doctor about my symptoms yet unfortunately. As far as losing the weight, I don't really know. I'm not exactly nauseated, just sick at my stomach if that makes sense. it does make me eat a little less, and I'm a big girl that normally eats alot so I'm not totally surprised by it. Honestly, I wasn't concerned about any of it until I put it all together. The 3 symptoms combined make me more nervous than one or the other individually.

Hello second trimester for me today! Unfortunately, the energy and morning sickness have not passed over here. Still throwing up at least once a day if not more, exhausted, and not sleeping well. I seem to have the constipation under better control now that I'm taking Colace and making sure to have a FiberOne bar every day, so that's a positive! Really, really hoping to start feeling better soon.

2. Have you found out the sex of your baby? If so, tell us!! If not, are you going to find out?
We haven't yet, but plan on it. My OB doesn't do the anatomy scan until 24 wks, so I feel like it's forever away I'm hoping to talk her in to taking a quick peek at my 16 or 20 wk appts. We shall see.

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?
Not for another 2 weeks for my 16 wk check up

4. Anything new or exciting this week?
Not on the baby front...my morning sickness got worse this week, so that's been new and old Found out my best friend is expecting in October. She had a loss about 5 months ago and they've been trying since. My mother-in-law remarried this past Sunday and we had a baby shower for another friend who is expecting twins in March, so it was a busy weekend

Hmm I'm a breakfast person, so this is tough. If I have to cook it myself, I'd probably say a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and a banana. If someone else is cooking for me, I'll take hash browns, french toast w/ strawberries, and biscuits and gravy yummmm

Not to be insensitive sounding, but your dr will probably be fine with it if you are overweight. If you aren't, they will probably want you to start gaining in your second tri. I don't know if you are or aren't so I was just throwing that out there. It's normal to not gain / lose weight in the first tri.

a little less nauseous overall. no longer 24/7 at least! almost threw up last night before dinner, but was able to hold back!! very tired today, but only because I did a lot of things yesterday!

had an OB appt yesterday-- doing the pre-eclampsia screen as I posted about separately today.

Starting to feel so much better in general the last few days, and today I am 14 weeks! Yay!!!

Not yet, but I am counting down the days until February 13th, the day we find out

None this week, 2 more weeks for my appointments.

I feel like I have accomplished something major, getting to the 2nd trimester (14 weeks today!). We should all feel like that!

Yeah, I realize that's true.  That's why I really wasn't concerned with one symptom or the other, but the combination of the three just seems more concerning to me.  I'll talk to my doctor though and if they aren't concerned, I won't be either.  I jsut want to make sure.  I've been feeling pretty bad for a while now.

Also, I've lost about 10 pounds in like 3 weeks.  To me that still seems like too much without vomitting.

HG - Hyperemesis Gravidarum. If you're not nauseated, you probably don't have it. Regarding the hair loss, hair goes through cycles, so you might just be in a shedding phase. I'd still give your OB a call.

Nope, we won't have our US until 20 weeks, so in March.

3. Any recent or upcoming appointments this week?
No OB appointments. I have an eye appointment Friday. The specialist in going to see for my migraines wanted me to make sure there wasn't a problem with my eyes before I go see them.

4. Anything new or exciting this week?
Not feeling sick ALL the time anymore. That makes me happy!

I don't think I could pick one thing. I get bored with breakfast foods early. I guess Panera cinnamon crunch bagels.
